Quiet, relaxing, peaceful, clean, had everything we needed. One of the best vrbo's we've stayed in. Spent 4 days and 3 nights here for our wedding anniversary and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with others.
Very nice, clean cabin that looks somewhat rustic but with all the modern amenities. Loved the large porch area with the outdoor fireplace. Cabin is located close to the PCT, a nordic trail system as well as Hyatt Lake and Howard Prairie for a variety of outdoor adventures. Host was excellent to respond to any requests or questions we had.
This is our 2nd time returning to this lovely place! Ms. Shellie is always helpful and supportive on planning our trip. The warm and kindness she showed as host made us feel like we are part of the community! Thank you for the memorable stay every time!
Really nice and comfortable space with comfort and charm. The house had everything we needed; the hosts have obviously thought about everything guests would need. We got muddy exploring and used the washer and dryer and enjoyed relaxing by the porch fire pit. Nice and relaxing stay.
It is a long drive to get to this property from downtown Ashland, and more than worth it. My son and I and our two dogs felt right at home. The amenities were excellent and thoughtful.
My wife and I spent four days at this beautiful property. During our stay we were blanketed in snow and had everything we needed to be comfortable and cozy. Well stocked and quality amenities! We loved the solitude and beauty of the area. Look forward to returning soon!
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Prairie Mountain Cabin! We snow-shoed out the back door, played darts on the large porch, BBQ’d and totally enjoyed family time. The kitchen was well equipped, the decor charming and the beds and sitting areas comfy. We would return in a heartbeat and encourage others to do the same. Thank you for a lovely time!!
Everything about our stay was excellent here. This was a great location for all outdoor activities. We especially liked the access for biking and hiking. The facility itself is beautiful and very clean. The gas fire table, darts, grill on the front deck, made for a great gathering place! The insides are wonderful too. We will be back and thank you to the property manager for being so hospitable and attentive.
This property was excellent! It had everything we expected and more. It’s beautiful inside and out. Internet TV is a bit sketchy, but we enjoyed our time there very much. Shellie is a great host. We’ll be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our peace and quiet at the cabin. It was very well stocked with an assortment of coffee to please all. Very nicely decorated. The home was very clean. The covered deck outside was a nice attribute. The host was very accommodating, and answered qiuckly to answer any questions. Our only desire would be to have more time to spend here. Would definitely recommend this cabin, and would stay here again.
This property is gorgeous. Woods with open groves bursting with wildflowers. The home is a wonderful mix of earthy and industrial. Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. I have never stayed in a home with a more well stocked coffee/tea/cocoa bar.
We enjoyed horseshoes, darts, propane fire pit and games. What a wonderful get away, thank you!!
This property was an amazing find and provided my family with a summer worth of memories.
We were headed to Crater Lake and with that in mind, we chose a location close enough to a larger city but within a driveable distance to Crater Lake. This property provided that! We also took advantage of a our proximity to do some whitewater rafting!
The cabin was immaculate and had most of everything we could need. The beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped. There was a cool dart board, horseshoes and games on site. We initially had trouble with the tv dish input but a quick text to the property manager and all was well. Shellie was courteous and prompt with communication.
A warning for going in the summer (and possibly around wildfire season), the power shut off on Saturday from 7:30am-4:30pm and again on Sunday starting at 7am. This in no way affected my rating of the property (and I believe the owners have a generator on site) but it is one of the perils of living on a mountain. Otherwise super fun vacation with the fam.
We have stayed at many cabins in our travels and this was, by far, the best. It is well laid out, has a great kitchen, it is stocked with everything you will need and it is in great shape. There are plenty of cooking utensils, spices, etc. We didn’t lack anything.
The cabin is on a small property between two other cabins and right off the road. I’m a big fan of complete privacy so I was a bit concerned by this. But, there was almost no traffic on the road, no one was every at the one cabin and an older man was at the other cabin but he was quiet so we barely knew he was there.
There outdoor area is very nice with a beautiful porch with a couch, chairs and a propane fire table. There is a very nice grill and darts and horseshoes outside too.
We went swimming at Howard Prairie and Hyatt Prairie lakes. They are both a bit rough because the low water levels means it can be rocky and muddy leading up to the water. I would recommend going to Hyatt Prairie. We found a decent spot in one of the campgrounds.
We stayed here for a week and were sad to leave. We would come back in a heartbeat.
My friend and I stayed 2 nights at this perfect cabin that met all our needs. We sat outside both nights enjoying the porch and the great fire table. We tool advantage of the grill, the house is stocked with plenty of spices and the basics. I'm totally obsessed with thelightingthroughout thwithlights
We love this cabin! The forest and meadow view, as the light comes up, is never just a backdrop. It is the show! Deer wander thru the yard for a wee bit of grass before leaping the fence and continuing on their way. It all happens in a quiet way and we feel grateful to witness each morning. 1
Our family was genuinely sad to leave this exquisite cabin. Shellie has decorated and arranged this place with great care and style. The cupboards have a few groceries so you don't have to do a big shopping trip before check-in. Spend time on the lovely porch (space for 5-6 easily) and just listen to the wildlife. The place felt like a cozy hug the entire time. Say hi to the neighbor Mark. We will definitely stay here for our next trip to Ashland. Thank you so much, Shellie.
