"What a truly beautiful place for a quick getaway. The owner went out of his way to ensure that we felt at home and welcomed. In addition to the ambiance of setting, the owner prepared a delicious breakfast of blueberry pancakes, bacon and fruit. We couldn’t ask for a better stay and we will make sure that we stay again during our next trip to Chicago ❤️"

"The home is located in a quiet country setting. Very clean, very pleasant. We witnessed some beautiful sunsets as we were fixing our suppers.The home is close to Springfield with the Lincoln museum and library and the National Lincoln Home.Both were very much enjoyed by us, and highly recommended."

"We had a nice stay. The kitchen appliances were in great condition but there were NO extras. We would have had to buy all spices, oils, even baking trays etc.. if we wanted to cook there.
