The property has an allocated parking bay with plenty of visitor parking available.
There is an enclosed garden to the rear.
On the ground floor there is a WC, comfortable lounge with smart tv and Wi-Fi, kitchen/diner with
seating for 4.
The kitchen is well equipped including gas hob, oven, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster,microwave, air fryer and coffee machine.
There is a washing machine, clothes airier, ironing board and iron.
The property has 2 spacious double bedrooms both with wardrobe space and a hair dryer is
available.
The bathroom is on the first floor with a large walk-in shower, WC, vanity unit and basin.
Bed linen, towels and toiletries are included for each guest.
A travel cot, baby bouncer, highchair and travel cot are available.
Dogs are welcome and bedding and towel are provided if required.

The property has a bus stop across the road with regular buses out of town and to the main bus
station in the centre of town, Morpeth train station is 7 miles away.
Ashington itself has a proud history as a mining town and you can explore this at the local mining
museum just a short walk from the property. Woodhorn Colliery Museum is adjacent to a the QE2 Park with beautiful walks, The Lakeside bar and restaurant and an abundance of geese, swans and other birds to keep you company on your visit.
Ashington leisure centre has a 25-meter pool and learner pool, spar, badminton courts, gym and soft play.
There are local shops, supermarkets, bars and takeaways conveniently situated within walking
distance or a short drive towards the town center.
Wansbeck Riverside Park is an ideal location for a picnic only 2.6 miles from the property, there is a
café full of freshly baked cakes and lunches or drinks can be served to takeaway.
It’s ideal for children with a large outdoor play area or for dog walks (doggie ice cream is on sale).
Ashington is 7.3 miles from the town of Morpeth with an excellent choice of both small shops and
larger retailers as well as lovely bars restaurants and cafes It’s beautiful location to walk along the
river or hire a small rowing boat.

Carlise Park is an enjoyable walk for visitors to the town.
Whitehouse Farm is a short drive outside of Morpeth and is a great day out for children and adults alike with plenty of animals, tractor rides and café.
The property is ideally situated to enjoy the Northumberland coastline and Newbiggin-by-the-Sea is only 2.9 miles away.
The village has a golf course, promenade with lifeboat station, great fish and chips and a traditional ice cream shop.
Bertorelli’s, in a beautiful art deco building, which has served visitors and locals since 1910.
The Maritime Museum is free to all visitors and provides an insight into the history of this fishing village.
