Indulge in a serene retreat at our quaint wooden cabin, perfect for a snug escape from the everyday hustle. Cozy up by the gas fireplace on chilly evenings, or whip up a delicious meal in the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with breakfast essentials for a delightful start to your day.
Nestled in a wooded setting, our cabin offers a break from the digital world – no cable or satellite TV, but fear not, we provide a selection of DVDs for entertainment. Basic DSL WiFi is on the house, though streaming speeds may vary.
Inside the main cabin, discover two inviting bedrooms, an open-concept living/dining/kitchen area, and a spacious bathroom featuring a charming claw-foot bathtub. For extra accommodation, the separate 'bunkhouse' offers two more bedrooms and a convenient half bath, ideal for peaceful slumber.
With a capacity to comfortably house 4-6 guests, and a maximum occupancy of 8, our retreat ensures a tranquil stay surrounded by the splendor of nature.
Other things to note
We allow guests to bring up to two dogs that are 2+ years of age at time of stay. Pet fee is per dog($60). We are not able to host any other animals/pets. A $250 fee is assessed for unregistered dogs.
-Dogs must be 2+ years old at time of reservation to stay.
-Dogs are only allowed on hard surface areas of home (kitchen, family room).
-Dogs may not go into bedrooms or lofts.
-While we'd prefer for dogs not to be on the sofa, we do provide extra blankets and/or sofa covers that can be used if this is not possible for your dog.
-Dogs must be crated if left unattended.
-All excrement must be picked up outside.
-Dog hair should be removed from all surfaces prior to your departure.
-Dogs must be on a leash when in the neighborhood and may not wander onto the neighbor’s property.
Grill, patio furniture, and/or hammocks are available Memorial Day through Labor Day. They may not be available outside of these dates.
Due to the nature of our mountain location, our home may lose power during weather events. Outages typically last for 2-3 hours when this occurs. Flashlights and extra blankets are provided for these occurrences. When power is out, cooking options are limited. If a guest chooses to check out during a power outage, a refund of the nightly fee will be provided. Guests choosing to keep their reservation will be charged the full booking amount.
The hot tub chemicals are balanced twice a week. The tech is onsite for approximately 15 minutes. Hot tub use is not recommended for guests with certain medical conditions or skin sensitivities. Please consult with your doctor prior to use if this applies to you.
Infants are counted within the max occupancy of our home and should be registered as children.
A ring security camera captures video of the driveway and front porch. It is on and recording 24/7 regardless of occupancy.
