The house was just perfect for our family's Christmas get together. The house was clean and spacious with extremely comfortable beds, even in the upstairs kids area. The linens were high quality and the kitchen had everything we needed. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs. Close to Asheville center but in a quiet neighborhood.Would book again!
Spacious and clean home. We had plenty of space to spread out and several rooms where we could gather together to talk, play games and watch movies. The kitchen and home were stocked with everything we needed.
We wanted to be close to the River Arts district and downtown. It felt like we were close to everything Great place.
We had a great time. The house was just the right space. Close enough to Asheville and Biltmore but also secluded enough. We would stay here again if we are back in Asheville.
The house worked well for our family. The beds and other furniture was comfortable. There were board games for kids, a giant Jenga set and other games to play which was a nice touch. The back yard was peaceful too.
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The house is lovely, and our host included many thoughtful touches (an oatmwal bar, tea bar, popcorn bar, high quality linens, a hot water pot, etc. We will definitely be back! Many thanks to our host for such a wonderful stay!
Loved the house. Nicely decorated. Good space, plenty of room for our family of four adults. The thermostat was a little difficult to figure out. Otherwise a great place. Would stay here again.
We stayed for just one night but would definitely come back and stay again! Right on the outskirts of Asheville it was a short drive to lots of restaurants and breweries. Plenty of room for the whole family, and although we didn’t have time to enjoy it, we loved the cute popcorn bar.
This property was perfect for my husband and me and our two adult daughters. With three sleeping areas and two and a half baths, each of us had privacy and plenty of room. The openness of the kitchen and two sitting areas gave us plenty of space to watch TV, work remotely, and relax. The neighborhood is very quiet, and we had a nice, relaxing stay. We were sorry to have to leave. We would definitely stay there again.
Perfect location and house setup for our group. Well priced and clean. Super comfortable beds, furniture and well stocked for everything we needed. Close enough to town and west asheville but secluded enough too. Fire pit, popcorn bar and oatmeal all nice extra touches. We plan to rebook for next year.
Great house with lots of nice touches! Popcorn machine and oatmeal with fixin's. The wood stove, fireplace and firepit were fantastic!
The house is modernized and updated!
I was very happy with our stay. It felt comfortable and welcoming, like being in your own home. Dishes, pots, pans, utensils, all there and easy to find. The location is great; we weren't bothered by street or neighbor noise even though every person in our group slept with their window open at night to get that cool mountain air while we slept.
I would stay in this home again without a second thought.
We had a wonderful long weekend at this property. The house was charming and the owner had a lot of nice touches added to make it feel very welcoming and home-y.
The mattresses in all the beds were SUPER comfy and we all slept great! Quality of linens was also excellent.
The space was ideal for our group of 3 sisters/friends - could easily have had one more and not felt crowded - would also work very well for a family with kids.
The fenced yard was awesome for our dog and there was a nice cul-de-sac that was good for quick morning & evening walks.
It was a short and easy drive into downtown Asheville to hit the breweries. A bit farther over to the Biltmore, but certainly not a long drive.
Definitely recommend this rental!
The property met our needs of a place to stay for 4 adults and 2 dogs with a fenced yard. However, the AC does not work properly. The unit was on, but no cool air flowed from the vents, so it was very warm the whole weekend. The house has fans and a window unit upstairs. The furniture was not very sturdy: a friend sat on one of the couches and the front corner buckled. Their bedframe was also cracked/broken when we arrived.
I messaged the host on Friday with a question and on Saturday to alert them of the issues we found and did not receive a reply about either. I received check out instructions but no mention of my previous messages, so I'm assuming it was an automatic one.
The house is cute and met our basic needs, but if you run hot like I do, I would not recommend staying here.
This is a very cute, spacious house with everything you might need, great for everyone. However, it is not really ready to be a vacation rental as there are still repairs needed. The bottom step is broken, handrail very loose, doorknob missing on closet, hole in the bedroom ceiling, bathroom not painted yet, smoke detector in upstairs sleeping loft didn't have a battery, no carbon monoxide detector we could find anywhere with 3 sources of combustible heat in the house, couch in family room very unstable to sit on.....so, not quite as good as you think from the photos. If it weren't for this punch list of items, I would give it 5 stars, but I feel there is a safety issue here.
