Apartment 203 at 80 LEX is professionally designed for an ultra-custom feel. We’re talking details like brick feature walls, custom upholstery, locally made mattresses, and a curated collection of antique and new furnishings. Vintage barware. Thickly layered texture, color, and patterns. Funky wallpaper. Handpicked art.

One Free Designated Off Street Parking Space
When it comes to parking, 80 LEX could just as easily be name Easy Street: parking here is simple! And that’s exactly how it should be, when you’re on vacation.

You don’t need a car to enjoy downtown Asheville (our walk score: 93!), but if you bring one, here are your options: One free off street designated parking space is reserved for this apartment, located a half a block away in a private parking lot.

Parking Decks: Both the City of Asheville and Buncombe County operate safe, reliable and inexpensive parking decks. The first hour is free and the full-day rate is just $20, so feel free to leave an extra vehicle overnight in the public parking decks. There are several parking decks within walking distance of 80 LEX on Rankin Ave; we’ll send all the details with your booking confirmation.

On-Street Parking: There are more than 700 on-street metered parking spaces in downtown Asheville. All meters are for short-term parking (two hours or less, as marked), at a cost of $1.50 per hour . On-street metered parking is free on holidays, Sundays, and every day after 6 pm.

Loading Zones: There is one right in front of the building. If you’re arriving via taxi, Uber, or Lyft, feel free to unload in one of Asheville’s dedicated loading zones, limited to 30 minutes (or less, as marked).

Accessing 203 requires climbing one flight of stairs, (22 stairs total). Included in each reservation, is one reserved off street parking space for this apartment only located just one block away. This is an urban setting, in a multi-tenanted building. Usual sights and sound of city living should be expected.

* A traveler reserving dates post Helene acknowledges Asheville is an active disaster zone and that there is a boil water notice. Please see below for more information . Visitors with an open mind and kind heart are welcome to support our local economy.
The City of Asheville Water Resources Department has issued a Boil Water Notice for all City of Asheville water customers due to loss of pressure in distribution system pipes and levels of turbidity (particles) in the water.
A Boil Water Notice means there is contamination due to impacts from Hurricane Helene including the potential for untreated water in the distribution system from pipe breaks and levels of turbidity that exceed Safe Drinking Water Act standards initially used to restore water pressure. Your water may look cloudy and/or have a chlorine odor. 
It is REQUIRED for customers to vigorously boil tap water for 1 minute before consuming it. Once laboratory testing of the system confirms the possibility of risk is not present, customers will receive notification that the boil water notice has been lifted.
How to minimize your risk
Buncombe issued this guidance for avoiding sickness Oct. 28:
Use safe water:
* Use bottled or disinfected water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth.
* If boiling: bring clear water to a rolling boil for 1 minute.
* If using bleach: add eight drops of bleach per gallon, wait 30 mins.
* Avoid well water until disinfected and tested.
Practice hand hygiene:
* Wash hands with soap and clean water, or use sanitizer (60% alcohol).
* Key times: before eating or preparing food, after bathroom use, after animal contact.
Sanitize food prep areas:
* Clean surfaces with soap and safe water.
* Use bleach solution (1 tbsp bleach per gallon of water) for sanitizing.
Follow food safety:
* Discard unrefrigerated meat/dairy.
* Cook food thoroughly and consume it hot.
*  Avoid raw foods unless you’ve peeled them yourself.

Location was great and the style of the apartment was everything we wanted. Surprisingly quiet considering its downtown location as well. The one item I would say that needed more clarification was the width of the parking spot assigned to the apartment. This is not the owner’s issue but would have been nice to know that the spot was on the smaller side. I drive a larger truck and had a hard time fitting in the assigned parking spot. Would have just drove my wife’s car instead. Again not a big deal but worth noting if you have a larger vehicle.

Awesome Rental!
My husband and I stayed here for four nights for a concert at the Civic Center. The space was super clean and had everything and then some that we needed during our stay. Prime location and easy walk to the Civic Center and local restaurants and bars. We will definitely stay here again for our next Asheville trip.

Clean modern rental
The rental is clean, modern and very comfortable. We loved the cleanliness, decor and location but didn’t appreciate the tone of rental manager or tight parking spaces a couple blocks away. Our vehicle was damaged in lot due to very tight parking. Since we paid over $500 night and had issues, we will not rent there again.

Great spot in Asheville
Could not have found a better place to stay in Asheville. This beautifully decorated apartment had everything we needed and more for our time here. We walked to all sorts of great restaurants and breweries, always felt safe in the neighborhood, and loved having a dedicated parking spot too. The place was quiet and the wifi was strong enough for streaming work meetings. Cannot think of anything that was missing!

Perfect location for the downtown scene. Great shopping, restaurants and bars next door! Short trip to connect to great locations like Biltmore, Arboretum,etc. Apartment was thoughtfully decorated with high end fixtures and the owner had thought to supply all the little things you may have forgotten at home. Great home for a week in Asheville
Outstanding condo, everything as advertised, and in a great downtown Asheville location. Well designed, nicely furnished, and very clean. Also very quiet, especially for a downtown unit (there was a little bit of trash truck noise early on a couple of the mornings, but it's the city). We stayed for a week and would definitely stay there again.
