"Our group chose to stay in Ashburton prior to flying out of Christchurch the next day. Taylors Motel was a great choice. Spacious and clean rooms (we had the 2-bedroom) and lounge area. Kitchen (fridge and stove) was small, however had everything we needed. Quiet location and short walk to shops, cafes. Friendly owners and easy check-in/out. "

"Large slightly dated hotel. Clean rooms. We had parking outside our rooms. Friendly reception. Pool and dining area were closed. Large sports type bar attached with good bar food. This was popular with locals and truckers staying in adjacent car park. However, it was quiet. Practical hotel for travellers. "

"checkin worked perfectly, owners responds quickly to questions. House can easily be cooled or heated depending on needs. House was clean and we appreciated washing machine and stash of additional linen and towels. Kitchen is well equipped, although a tea pot and larger cooking pan would have been helpful. would certainly stay again, thank you"
