"Great location, friendly staff, cabin really well appointed with great rain head shower and pressure. Plenty of facilities as well for other guest if not in cabins. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting the area. Will be back next visit!"

"Great house, especially for mixed groups. The separate areas that come together in a large open plan space were really helpful for jetlagged parts of our family. It's kitted out with much nicer and much more complete kitchen equipment than you normally find in a holiday rental. Clearly loved by the owners. "

Dream come true

"We wanted a property for a small gathering of friends to celebrate a weekend away, we could not have dreamed of a better place to do it. The location was second to none, and the amenities were everything we needed.The only things that was missing was a sound system to be able to enjoy some background music of our choice. If previous groups had been too noisy then it is not fair that others should miss out on this simple amenity.The missing ironing board was also of concern to us, however the caretaker was contacted to deliver one to us later in the day. "

Wonderful couple get away

"This was a beautiful place to stay for a couple of nights. There is everything that you need in the little apartment above the Bettany's shop. The views were incredible and it was lovely sitting on the porch in the evening when everything was quiet and having some nibbles looking over the lake. We would definitely stay here again. "

The most luxurious stay ever!!

"We could not fault our stay in Villa 1 facing the beautiful vines and overhanging the gorgeous lake. We kept repeating how tranquil this place is as the ripples in the lake reflect onto the balcony ceiling while we swayed in the hammock and watched the stars (they even had telescopes!!). The bed is hands down the comfiest bed we have ever stayed in. We will definitely be staying again and hopefully for even longer next time! "

Bonnie & Piper—Lakeside & Wine Country Living

A rural gem

"It’s hard to please 4 families with 9 kids from ages 6 to 13, but this place managed. Beautiful spacious rooms meant no arguing about who went where, a fantastic open kitchen/ living area had room to cook for and feed everyone, and best all, the lake and grounds meant the kids ran, kayaked and played all day while the adults could chill. Just perfection."

"I stayed at this beautiful property with 3 friends during the week and we had the best time! This property is so cute, very spacious and situated in a lovely secluded area but still within driving distance to all the best spots down south. The bed was so comfy and the kitchen was perfect for cooking - we made dinner together every night and it was wonderful. I would highly recommend booking this property! "
