beautiful stay in Tuscany
A wonderful location with ever changing views that take your breath away. Clean and well equiped. great communication with the hosts. Lovely area to explore. Cats that visit- sheer bliss Be aware that the property is a little rustic- shower is low pressure and hot water comes and goes. We had some visiting centipedes on the interior wall from time to time but they were harmless and easily removed. A magical stay overall - recommend

Wonderful Tuscany
We had an amazing time here with easy access to great cycling routes and easy travel by car or train to awe inspiring historic towns. Property is very well equipped to allow you to stay in and cook your own food while being a sorry drive to great local restaurants, etc. The views from the property across the Tuscan landscape is simply awesome.

Absolutely amazing!
The home is better than described. The views are incredible, it’s the perfect location for exploring Tuscany. Be sure to read the instruction book. It’s useful if you actually read it. We didn’t till the last day and wish we had, lol. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful place in Tuscani!!!
We couldn’t ask for a better location in Tuscani! The apartment is on the top of a hill with amazing views!! Just like a postcard!!! The only problem is that it was very cold and she requested 15 euros more per day to allow us to use the central heating system. We declined to pay more but we were allowed to use the fireplace. —- which wasn’t easy and very smoky !! Took a while to heat the place. The kitchen is well equipped for all possible needs !!

Amazing location
Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, cool evening breezes on the hilltop, with authentic Tuscan farmhouse feel. The house gets a bit dark at night due to some light fixtures that were out. The tub in one bathroom was a little difficult to negotiate for temperature regulation and slippery, but the other bathroom had a shower that was fine. It has a very large clean pool, however the surrounding patio could have been better maintained. It was a relaxing stay in the country.

A 5 star experience! The most beautiful country side we’ve ever witnessed. The Podere Covani was beautiful. I highly recommend staying there. You will not be disappointed. If you want solitude, peaceful evening sipping wine while starring at the gorgeous Tuscan country side this place is for you! Close to cities, day trips to Florance, Siena, and other Tuscan hill towns.

We enjoyed our time in the farmhouse apartment. It was centrally located for Tuscan day trips. Kitchen was efficient and stocked with most basic items and came with a bottle of local olive oil. The views were spectacular and the flowers bloomed profusely. Spring in Tuscany is delightful. The information book was thorough with many suggestions. The pergola covered in vines was wonderful to sit under and read. There were lounge chairs too. Local grocery stores were easy to manage. We were even allowed by one of four cats to pet it. So cute.

Absolutely wonderful!
The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The views were magnificent, and our stay was serenity itself. A great spot for exploring Tuscany. There are several grocery stores nearby if you want to have food for breakfast and or supper. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Carmelina did such a wonderful job with the information book – so much interesting history and suggestions for things to do. I enjoyed taking a walk along the via Bianca. Wish we had to skip two weeks here instead of only four nights. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved staying here! It was beautiful, charming, comfortable, and in a great location. The place was quite well-equipped. Carmelina and Peter were so kind and helpful to us. Spectacular Views of the Crete Senesi
My sister-in-law chose this property for it's amazing views over the Crete Senesi, and Siena in the distance. We also wanted a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns and cities. This property definitely delivered!! We also needed two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which are hard to find in rentals. The decor is rustic Tuscan farmhouse, which is perfect for the setting. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely go back in the Fall again, or even in winter. We never had time to use the fireplace, but it would be a plus on cold nights. If you are driving yourself, be prepared for a long gravel road. Some people might consider that a disadvantage, but the entire property and surroundings are so quiet and peaceful that you will see that the drive is well worth it!!!

After 18 months of COVID this was an Eden. Outstanding scenic location on the Crete Senesi and an hour from Siena, Montalcino, Pienza, Multepulchino and close to Florence. Apt is very comfortable with absolutely amazing views. Well stocked kitchen allowed for nice meals watching the sunset, nice clean swimming pool, and even pleasant local walks suggested by the host. Carmelina immediately responded to any questions, provided us with excellent recommendations for tour guides, and has a wealth of local information provided. Couldn’t recommend any higher.

Remote, rustic farmhouse stay
Lovely place with 360 views of the Tuscan hills. The apartment in large and well equipped. The access road is quite rough in parts but manageable. We had torrential rain with a few leaks but this was abnormal and owner will fix. The fireplace is a great asset and makes the place very cosy indeed. Great base for exploring though very nice just to stay there. Carmela was very communicative and her book of the local area and what to do is outstanding.

Beautiful apartment in typical Tuscan farmhouse with breathtaking views of Siena and countryside
Where to begin? The place is beautifully decorated and furnished, with lovely bits of artworks and books. Every window gives a magnificent view of the stunning landscape, and the beautiful, fragrant gardens. The swimming pool is large and very clean, it is shared with the other owners, but there were plenty of times, when we had it all to ourselves. Lots of thoughtful touches inside, with delicious welcome pastries and a bottle of homemade olive oil as a gift. The perfect Tuscan getaway, we couldn’t recommend it more warmly.

Scenery, seclusion, character. An oasis of peace
We spent a lovely week at Podere Cavoni. The Crete Senesi region is great, in parts quite different to the rest of Tuscany. The property is very authentic. Rustic and secluded, yet has all the modern conveniences that we come to rely on (excellent WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker). This made the stay so comfortable. It is also very well situated. An hour and a bit from Florence, 20 minutes from Siena, and close to numerous other wonderful towns and villages. We particularly liked San Gimignano and Pienza (beautiful place). All in all this is highly recommended if you like peace and culture.

Wonderful site, beautiful home
We (family of 3) just spent a week at Carmelina's lovely home. We used it as a base for day visits to Siena, Montepulciano, Arezzo, Cortona, etc, and also just sat and basked in the beauty of the surrounding countryside. The apartment is very authentic and special; a lot of thought and love clearly went into it. The little "village" that is the farmhouse was also nice, complete with about five cats of varying dispositions. In all, a wonderful stay, highly recommended.

Gorgeous setting in the heart of Tuscany.
Of the many Agriturismo's we've stayed at over the years, none can compare to the views at Podere Cavoni. The spacious common area hosted many memorable meals, made possible by the well equipped kitchen. Navigating the road to the Agriturismo does take some getting used to, but the peace and serenity make it worth the journey.

The Pictures Don't Do It Justice
This is an amazingly comfortable apartment in an idyllic setting that is the very essence of what those who've never been there might imagine the Tuscan Hills to be like. It's conveniently located to three principal wine centers: Chianti Classico, Montepulciano's Vino Nobile, and Montalcino's Brunello. Each is about an hour's drive. (Yes, you need a car because it's a ways away from everything, down a gravel road at the end of the trip.) We were two couples who stayed in this spacious rental. We had welcoming home made pastries and olive oil (!) when we arrived. I just cannot say enough good about it. If is up a flight of stairs, so if that's an issue, this might not be for you. Other than that, I can't say enough good about this place. (Oh, and the cats are very friendly.)

Breathtaking !!!
Every view outside each window was a masterful painting. We could not stop taking photos. The apartment was perfect for my wife and I. We stayed for a week which gave us enough time to travel each day to a different city / town in the Siena region. The pool was just being opened for the season the day before we left but we could imagine ourselves lounging poolside with a great bottle of vino enjoying the view, clean air and sounds of silence.
