The Gschwendtnerhof is located in the high valley of Hintergschwendt at the foot of the Kampenwand and can be reached by car all year round. From April to October there is a bus connection to Bernau and Chiemsee. Embedded in idyllic nature, surrounded by meadows and forests, in addition to numerous opportunities for hiking, mountaineering and mountain biking, there are impressive views of the mountains and the "Bavarian Sea". Hintergschwendt is a quiet part of the municipality of Aschau i. Chiemgau. In 1984 the Gschwendtnerhof was rebuilt as a holiday complex with 26 apartments and a restaurant in the Upper Bavarian country style. In the basement: storage room and drying room / ski room, common lounge with table tennis, table football, play area and seating. Sufficient parking spaces available. Restaurant with beer garden in the same house on the back.

Open gallery apartment with stairs, on the gallery there is a bunk bed for two people (not lockable) and a bedroom (lockable) with a double bed and a cot / crib for toddlers up to 2 years. Living room / bedroom with pull-out sofa bed for one person (1.40 m wide), satellite TV, radio, telephone and WiFi. Extra kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with hair dryer, shower / bathtub / toilet and additional toilet in the apartment.

Für uns war es überaus passend!
Uns als Familie aus vier Erwachsenen mit Hund haben insbesondere die Lage und Umgebung gefallen. Die FeWo war für unsere Konstellation genau richtig. Schade war ein wenig, dass die Gschwendtner Stubn während unseres Aufenthalts kaum geöffnet hatten - was aber nicht dem Vermieter zur Last gelegt werden kann.

Toller Aufenthalt in idyllischer Ruhe
Die Ferienwohnung liegt abseits des Massentourismus und doch zentral, so dass man Sehenswürdigkeiten, Berge und Seen schnell erreichen kann. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und war relativ sauber. Am Haus befindet sich eine Gaststätte mit Biergarten. Optimal für einen Kaffee und Eis für die Kinder, oder ein entspanntes Abendessen nach einer Bergtour. Genau das richtige für einen ruhigen Urlaub in der Bergidylle!
