"I have just returned from a 5 night winter break here. I have travelled extensively but this hotel is up there with some of the best i have stayed in, certainly in Europe. The staff were all extremely polite friendly and professional. The pools and grounds were beautiful, but the town outside tge horel was very limited. "I went half-board at this hotel. Room itself was spacious and had a wonderful view. TV was large and had HDMI ports, which was also very convenient. The sofa turns to a bed which is also a nice touch. Room is relatively modern and had all the facilities needed. Staff were polite and helpful, but I would have preferred if I were informed earlier that half-boarders can only access water during dinner. It would have saved an awkward conversation. However, that is only a minor nitpick. Food itself...

"Amazing stay at Bancal! The hotel is huge, green, sustainable, the view of the Teide incredible and the service excellent (thanks to Charlie!). We ate at the buffet and the food was really good and the staff kind and professional. Overall, the quality/price is unbeatable and we really had a lovely stay."

"Our stay at Rok Plaza was absolutely lovely.The hotel itself is charming and perfectly located right by the sea.Kathy was wonderful…her warm welcome and hospitality made us feel right at home.She gave us excellent recommendations for dining and even helped us arrange a car rental,unfortunately there were none available at the time.remember to book a car in advance because they go quickly. Tenerife South is a beautiful destination, would recommend it. "

"We were disappointed with service in the restaurant in particular. Mis-taken orders. Staff chatting with one another while holding a meal en route to a table. The Main dishes were just average. We enjoyed the fresh fruit at breakfast. I don’t believe that a coffee machine with decent coffee in each room ought to be too much to ask at the price level."

"I loved staying at Casa Regina in the town of Tamaimo. The hosts were great and the breakfast was lovely. They even did me a pack up the morning I left due to an early flight home. The only slight downside is my room had a shared bathroom, which I didn’t realise at the time of booking. "

"Everything is beautiful as always here. My third time staying. I knew about the ongoing works to crystal 2 next to the property so was not surprised by the works going on. It was a little dusty and noisy at times but it did not spoil my trip. The lady at check in was very friendly and Natalia is always a pleasure "

"The hotel was very centrally located and a 10 minute walk from the ferry port. We had a modern room on the fourth floor with a large balcony. Breakfast was included and a good buffet was served with hot and cold options. There was no bar in the hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful recommending 3 restaurants nearby for dinner. "We had a delightful time staying in Luca and Lucia's lovely casita. They were excellent hosts very warm and welcoming and accommodating. Perfect location with easy access to beautiful nature and walks as well access to local supermercados within walking distance and the buzzy "downtown" of Valle Gran Rey offering good bakeries, fresh fish at the puerto. Also enjoyed late afternoons swimming in the warm ocean and relaxing on the playa after a long walk.Thank you too to Heike for coordinating. "

"The property is secluded from all the small towns in the island but offers silence peace and comfort in the zone that it is located. The space was perfect for a family vacation of 5 people. I would recommend this property if staying in La Gomera for longer than 2 nights to make it worth your while. "
