At the entrance of a Pyrenean valley, on the border of Béarn and Bigorre, rental is located on one of the mythical roads of the Tour de France passes leading to the Aubisque and Soulor. A great house in a fantastic location. Everything we needed for a good holiday. The large pool made it even better. Daniel was the perfect host. If spotting eagles/kites/vultures are our thing then this is the place to be.

Du calme et de la verdure !

Beautiful place to stay in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Hosts very help and on hand when needed, despite the language differences we coukd still communicate. Lots of amazing scenery to explore. Pool was welcome, middle of the stay when the weather was very hot. Accommodation had everything we needed

Jolie maison au coeur de la nature. Une ferme à quelques centaines de mètres qui fait un bon fromage de chèvres. Et tout au long du séjour la découverte des sites de balades comme le col du Soulor, où le calvaire de Bettharam. Nous avons passé un bon moment.

Nous avons passé une semaine en famille dans le gîte de Colette et Daniel que je remercie pour leur chaleureux accueil. L'endroit est magnifique et la maison est superbe et bien équipée. Le beau temps ne nous a pas toujours accompagné mais nous avons quand même bien profité de notre séjour. Il était trop tôt pour tester la piscine alors nous espérons pouvoir revenir à un autre moment! Angélique

Repos, calme et nature
Nous avons séjourné du 25 septembre au 2 octobre dans le gîte. Il y a 5 lits 1 place et 1 lit 2 places avec 3 canapés. La cuisine est équipée pour faire des plats. La cheminée réchauffe bien la maison. Il y a du bois à volonté à proximité. Il y a 2 toilettes et une salle de bain. Vous pouvez déjeuner soit en intérieur dans le salon soit en extérieur ou devant les balançoires. Pour faire les courses, vaut mieux commander à lavance au leclerc drive ou passer par le lidl. Sur place, comme activité, vous pouvez vous balader dans la propriété pour ramasser des châtaignes à manger le soir. Laisser les enfants faire de la balançoire ou jouer avec eux au baby foot. Ou visiter les alentours notamment la ferme à côté qui vend du fromage de chèvre. Les enfants peuvent aussi s'amuser à carresser des poneys pas loin de la propriété. S'il fait beau vous pouvez profiter de la piscine. S'il pleut ou fait un peu froid vous pouvez visiter les grottes du Bétharram ou le zoo d'asson. Il y a plein d'autres sites touristiques et activités à faire. Le matin est agréable. Les vaches jouent avec leur clochette. Le paysage est très beau. Vous avez une bonne connexion wifi dans la propriété et vous pouvez capter un peu le 4g. Attention à venir par le chemin du garenot et non par celui de la montagne pour éviter de rentrer en marche arrière par la pente ou bien faire un demi tour qui chauffe l'embrayage. Le gps n'indique pas le bon chemin. Si vous aimez la lecture, le silence de la montagne et la nuit obscure vous plonge dans vos livres. A bientôt.
