Charming getaway close to beaches

Quite guest cottage located close to town. It is a great place to relax and unwind. Or just a place to rest your head after busy day of exploring all the local amenities, wineries, breweries, beaches, lakes, eateries.

During your stay you may sight a white and black cat with a black heart on her paw. Her name is Daisy Coco Chanel, she spends most of the day sleeping in various areas of the yard. If happen to spot her feel free to pet her she is friendly but please do not allow her to visit you in the house.

Great weekend getaway

Oasis with garden charm

Wonderful stay in a great location
My family and I stayed here for three nights over thanksgiving. The property is very very clean and has a well stocked kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located - close to beach and grocery stores. Highly recommend the property if you are taking a trip to the central coast.

The most ideal private retreat spot ever
This was my second stay at Tammy and John's charming VRBO. As an introvert/creative with an overly active brain, I've arrived each time with one goal in mind: to relax, unpack and spread out all my ideas/papers/books/articles that I've been saving. Since work life doesn't leave me with ample energy to create and restore, I come HERE for 4-5 days each year.Tammy and John have created a private, welcoming, comfortable home with lovely touches. They are thoughtful hosts who stay invisible but super responsive. Highly highyly recommend this spot.

Amazing time at Arroyo!
Had a great time with my family, the house was clean and really beautiful with very cute design accents, the backyard is amazing and really makes this rental special! Overall I would recommend this place, and hopefully come back again.

We enjoyed our stay in Arroyo Grande and found this home to be very quiet and comfortable. It was a great base for our travels in the area. The host was very accommodating and easy to speak with. We definitely hope to return in the future.

Wonderful getaway!
This is our first opportunity in a very long time to celebrate our anniversary. We picked this place for the proximity of the beach and the outdoor space and it exceeded our expectations. The interior is beautiful and thoughtful. Everything is high-quality and comfortable. This was a great place to stay near all the attractions that we wanted to see. This was our first stay in Arroyo Grande and what a cute town. The Sensorio light field was the main goal and our granddaughters absolutely loved it! The house and amenities were just perfect.

We loved the decor and the beautiful yard. I have a daughter in the area and the host was happy for her family to come over for a BBQ. The bed was very comfortable. It is one of the first places i didn't redecorate in my mind. I was so at peace there.

Fabulous place. Everything you need inside, plus lovely outdoor space. I would definitely stay here again. I wanted to move in permanently 😊 hosts made the entire transaction painless. Very attentive to every detail. It would be perfect for a couple.

Much needed
We had everything we needed and more. The host thought of everything that would make our stay comfy and cozy. It was just the right size to relax and enjoy our stay. The yard was beautifully landscaped and the house was very homey. Would recommend staying there we intend to go back if it is available.

We really enjoyed our family stay at this property. It was clean, and comfortable, and had everything we needed to make ourselves at home, including nice extra touches to help us feel welcome. The property owners were attentive to any needs or questions, responding quickly by text. Easy distance to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We would definitely recommend it.

Lovely Getaway
Lewis Family Summer Vacation 2023 was one for the books. T and J were wonderful hosts. The home is close to beaches and to town. Recommendations for all restaurants were spot on. Beautiful yard that was relaxing and peaceful. This family will definitely be back! Highly recommend

Simply Beautiful!
My husband and I use VRBO on our vacation every year, and Tammy's property did not disappoint. Everything was beautiful and very tastefully done. Wow, where do I start? This place has it all, family friendly, beautiful location, magazine worthy design and overall relaxing feel. To top it off, we also had amazing hosts. Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) enjoyed our stay and had a cozy weekend retreat. We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to stay on the Central Coast. You will love it!

Wonderful, Quiet Getaway
Tammy and John are wonderful hosts. Very thoughtful and considerate providing things i may have forgotten. The decor is perfect. Very well put together, no clutter. Their yard is beautiful. I enjoyed dinner outside and even got to say hi to their cat Daisy Coco Channel. Highly recommend them!

Perfect stay at the T-J getaway
This was our first stay at an ABB. This little house is tucked behind the owner's home with total privacy and is peaceful. The backyard was so beautiful and gave us a great feeling of serenity and relaxation. Loved the spa and fire pit in which we made smores. The inside is clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable also. About 3 minutes away is a state beach which you can drive on, park and relax. The host/owners were right there if we needed anything. First impression of an ABB was the best. Thanks

Good but bitter aftertaste
The place is nice and designed very well but after the stay, I got a bill For almost nearly thousands for damages, for the cover of the hot tub more particularly. I have not even touched it, and it was fine when we were leaving, but how would I prove this? Such a disappointment...

We were a group of 3 women in our 50’s meeting from SB and San Jose for a college reunion. The beautiful place is situated in a residential neighborhood that is easy distance to the beach, downtown AG, Avila, and SLO. Tammy has decorated the apartment so nice and everything is labeled. We were able to use the hot tub one night and were hoping to use the fire pit but ended up not having time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our host couldn’t be any more accommodating. Thank you Tammy!😃

Cute, great location, everything we needed…
We needed to be in the area for a week while one of our children was attending an event near by. The location was perfect. You could walk to grocery stores, Starbucks, and a few eateries if desired. The guest house was exactly as described and we spent a great deal of time there. Aside from buying food we needed, everything else was provided. Linens were comfortable and plenty. We really enjoyed time relaxing, watching movies and playing games together. We even enjoyed some time outside in the hot tub, and around the gas fire pit. Tammy was very responsive when we needed anything, and so friendly. We would love to stay here again if it’s available when we are in the area. Highly recommend

First stay of what I hope will be many!
Wow. I loved my stay and I plan to make this a regular solo retreat destination. The hosts have thought of everything to make this sweet home (built in 1949) modern, comfortable and charming. It is tasteful, spacious and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood is quiet and when I opened the windows, all I heard was the water fountain near the entrance and windchimes. I forgot a bathing suit so didn't use the hot tub but the backyard area is also lovely. In the property guestbook, I read how one family had traveled to the area for a funeral, and sat around the living room near the gorgeous fireplace just sharing memories and telling stories. The home and the host are special -- it's as comfortable here for a group, as for just one person in need of solitude. I look very forward to returning.
