"The place was really beautiful and quiet. The balcony was a plus as you could relax there. The staff were very attentive. Leonel was especially sweet and thoughtful when we requested to take our order from the bar to our room. He carried 2 trays of food to our room, even though room service wasn’t available."

"Everything was well kept and the property was nice. There were several options for breakfast. The room was fairly clean but there was some sticky stuff on the table and floor that hadn’t gotten cleaned up. Otherwise it was a nice stay."

"A beautiful old convent where monks once stayed. Everything is beautifully appointed and the breakfast was a beautiful spread. The location is outside city center so call an uber to get around. Evora was a beautiful old city and our hotel balcony was a lovely view. "

"What an amazing place. The room was wonderful, spacious, well-appointed. The service was friendly with lots of nice touches such as a delicious continental breakfast which is delivered to the room after you pick what is in it. Our room had an absolutely lovely patio as well. Very centrally located, right behind the cathedral in the Moorish neighborhood. Highly recommended. "

"Negatives: there was room for only one suitcase. Not two. Had to put them on the floor. And no place to put clothing. There was no fridge. Bedside table was teeny… about size of an 8.5x11 inch piece of paper. Room for hotel phone and if I was careful my water bottle. Positives: It’s new and exceptionally clean and very good value. The included breakfast was very adequate and offered a fair variety . "

"The hotel’s staff is very friendly and well located, but rooms are not soundproof!!! We couldn’t sleep at all, noisy neighbours until 5AM! Great breakfast and location but because of the room noise issue we’ll not come back."

"Short walk from the walls of the old quarter this a great smallish hotel. Rooms are not huge but large enough. Nice bathrooms. Outstanding breakfast. Excellent value for the money."
