"We had an amazing time, the house was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Christiane and her family were so welcoming and friendly , we had fresh eggs on arrival, fresh strawberries and cherries as well. Thanks to iPhone we could communicate but to be honest they and us totally understood each other. We loved the place and would definately stay there again. Les vignes is a lovely village and again people so friendly.❤️❤️"

"Amazingly friendly welcome and great location. Good food at dinner, served during entertainment. Basic breakfast. Didn't get to try out the pool. Room did not have aircon but on an extremely hot day was nice and cool with the balcony door left open for a while. The surrounding area is spectacular. Particularly like the floodlighting of the rock face at the back of the hotel at night. Will be going there again."

Tricky to find, even with the help of some good men in St Andre de Vizines, the effort was exponentially rewarded. "This old stone house is built up against a cliff in the Tarn River Gorge, a place of exceptional beauty. We stayed in early spring and enjoyed the fresh greenery, bird songs and the occasional fox sighting. It's very secluded yet convenient to town and exploring the area.
