"Hotel was very pleasant. We stayed on the top floor and it was warm as it was July other than that very nice, grounds are pretty, restaurant was nice and staff very friendly would defiantly go again. "

"Very handy, and walkable to where we wanted to be. Street is a bit busy at times due to the university but we were still able to find free parking within a short distance. Some nice restaurants just a short distance away that the staff directed us to."

"Second time we've stayed at this hotel and we do feel that perhaps they have left a few experienced staff go. I'm all for training new staff but would expect most to know how to make a gin and tonic."

"Better than expected. Parking is very tight but i did get the last spot. No problem checking in after 9 after a ferry. Very clean room. "

"Access to the hotel is via a large gate on the main street. Other than the signage on the gate, the property is not visible from the main street. The hotel surrounds a lovely garden. The hotel is very well kept. The room was spacious, simple but well maintained and comfortable. Parking is on street or at Jean Bart underground parking at the top of the street, I would definitely utilise again."

"A great find. Slightly difficult to find.we initially stopped at the side of the hotel and could not see it. We then drove round another kilometer and it was the furst hotel we had stopped at, but there was no name sign at the side of the hotel. That needs to be improved. The room was great with views over the river. The facilities were good especially the disabled room we had. The staff were excellent and very helpful we will stay again "
