"Serge and his family were wonderful- welcoming and informative. The photos (of both the view and the villa), while beautiful, do not do the place justice. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Menton is a lovely town, and a stay at this villa grants you (hilly) walking access to all Menton has to offer. "Immaculately clean and well-equipped apartment with good internet and smart TVs in all rooms. Good quality (and quiet) air conditioning throughout and was much needed. Pool was clean and well looked after. Hosts live upstairs and were kind and helpful. Only drawback is the A8 motorway which can obscure the beautiful view of the valley and does have some noise which is only heard when outside the property. We had a great stay!"

"We had a great week in Menton in this central villa. Everything you need is so close by. The pool, BBQ and terrace were perfect. The house has lots of rooms and is well stocked with towels and kitchen equipment. It is quite cluttered with furniture and ornaments but everything is clean. We had an issue with the broken dishwasher door and the water temperature during our stay. The good weather and location made this a great week."

"Many thanks to Leonardo for letting us stay in his amazing period family home. We had a wonderful time with both France and Italy on the doorstep. The highlight was the swimming pool and views plus the very well located shop at the bottom of the drive (much needed for 5 hungry teenagers!). "Villa Anka is a litlle bit difficult to find as this address is not on google maps.The location is really in the sky, good for hiking. Not so convenient to go down to the sea as the road is really difficult, steep and narrow. The house is older, but still fine. Great collection of music - 60s, 70s- we really liked that. Unfortunatelly no free wifi. The view from the balcony was awsome."

"Where to begin? The “villa” had only one correct description. Magnificent views (only seen if you are standing…). None of the four advertised bedrooms were usable due to toxic extremely strong smell of the mildew. Black mold on the ceiling in all bathrooms, wet linens due to humidity, unkept grounds, weak wifi, pigeon excrements in the outside “pizza oven” but the best is yet to come!
