Come stay at our modern lake home with sandy beach and all the amenities. Walking distance to the golf course, boat ramp, convenience stores, restaurants and nightlife. With the public beach next door you will have plenty of extra beach space to play. There is a 32’ x 65’ concrete driveway that provides plenty of room for parking , boats or even campers for extra guests. The wrap around patio provides even more outdoor space with patio furniture, fire pit, both gas and charcoal grills plus a blackstone to meet all of your outdoor cooking needs. It has a large pass through lower level garage living space with bar that’s great on the nice days but also provides a good indoor escape for those pesky rain days. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The cabin is designed well and our kids enjoyed themselves. We would stay there again. The host’s communication was excellent during our time there.

Great Stay on Lake Poinsetta
We had a great stay at Justin's lake house retreat on Lake Poinsetta. The home is well equipped and spacious for the size of home. We particularly like morning sunrise on the lake. Kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed the walkout.

What we liked...
Easy access. Super close to boat launch. Close to restaurants and gas stations. Next to large swim beach. We have a boat and were able to keep the boat right by the property tethered from the bow with a Sandspike and the stern with an anchor. Bottom is sand-So we could easily come and go during the day. Large long driveway for vehicles. The property is very nice. Well stocked. Very nice bathrooms, beautiful views. Great patio, grill and blackstone. Access to hose on patio for cleaning and foot washer for getting sand off the feet. Two refrigerators and plenty of room in lower level for the coolers and items you bring with you. Well designed property.

Weekend Wedding Stay
Very nice property. Just a couple of suggestions from our group regarding stairs and closets. We had quite a bit of semi-formal wear with us for a wedding and there were not even one closet and no hooks on back of doors. We had to leave all our hanging clothing in our cars. Upon entering the home, you have to climb a good amount of fairly steep stairs (maybe 12 - 15) and there is no hand rail. Found that to be a bit challenging with luggage especially on the descent. Those with mobility issues or small children should be aware of this because we did not pick up on the no closet and stair issues in the pictures. Other than that, we would have given it a 5 star rating.

Relaxing getaway
This is a fabulous place to stay! We spent most of our time between the patio and the game room/bar area. This place has every appliance and amenity you could ever want. The location near the beach gives you such wonderful views. We even woke up early to see the amazing sunrise. Our family loved it! It was the perfect place for a family with 3 teachers, a college kid and a high school student to relax and reset in the summer. Once we arrived we never left the property…no need to!

We had a great weekend visiting our daughter for SDSU family weekend. This was the perfect location for us to also feel like we were getting a mini vacay vs staying in a hotel. The morning views we amazing. Thank you for hosting us. We will definitely book again!
