Francisco Grande Hotel and Golf Resort
5/5 Excellent
"This is a really cool old hotel. We like staying at places with a little history when we can and this one has plenty. I think it's been updated just enough to modernize some comforts but leave the 1960s feel. My husband had a hard time with the outdoor hallways from the elevator to the rooms because he's afraid of heights and we were on the 7th floor but unless you have a genuine phobia, it's actually a lovely view. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was nice, the pool was fun. We don't golf but the course looked well cared for from our balcony where me and our toddler enjoyed watching the golfers together.
There's not a lot to do in Casa Grande, but the people are friendly and the neon light park is cool. We were there to bring our daughter to Rooster Cogburn's Ostrich Ranch about 35 mins south of the hotel. That is not to be missed. You'll have a blast even if you don't have kids! "
