The check in process was very easy and well explained as well as directions to get there. The cabin was clean and exactly as pictured! The hosts were great with making sure we had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. Great cabin to stay in!
The property owners were very friendly and even gave us a tour of their property. The animals are adorable and the cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated.
We stayed here for a few nights during a trip to Mount St. Helens. It was conveniently located - a 20 minute drive got you to the highway, and a 45 minute drive got you to Mt. St. Helens. The cabin was very nicely appointed with everything you need. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was appreciated after a long hike! We would definitely stay again!
The space we stayed in was very well-appointed and comfortable, but the real draw was the surroundings! The property is located on the host's farm, with a lovely trail through the woods, and along the pens where their goats, horses and sheep were kept. Our kids loved our visit here!
We were there for 3 nights. The hosts had thought of everything from spices to hot chocolate. Plenty of fluffy towels, comfortable beds and nice sheets. The hot tub was just right.
The cabin was comfortable and beautifully decorated with a rustic theme. Everything that we needed was supplied. We especially enjoyed meeting the hosts and learning about them and the extensive work they've done to develop their property.
The cabin was so adorable and perfect for my boyfriend and I. We had such an incredible stay. It was so clean and peaceful, the rooms and bathroom were so clean. The fridge and prep space were more than enough for him and I to cook. We would heavily consider returning!
This stay was beautiful! The property is already set up for a wonderful family stay and we are excited to see what they add on in the future. We would love to stay in a future pet friendly cabin here with our pup Tucker and see that it is in their future plans. A perfect spot to relax after hiking through the Ape Caves or doing one of the many beautiful hikes around Mt St Helens. Our group of 6 were very comfortable in the Bear Cabinš
Very cute place with a lot of attention to detail. A lot of thought went into what guests might need during their stay. They had all of the basic necessities and even farm fresh eggs!
Very cute and well taken care of. Owner is considerate and makes a big difference by thier effort on some small things such as, fresh ground coffee, quality toilet paper, cute hot cocoa tree for use, bottle of wine provided, and all around cute details that go the extra mile.
The directions while a lot were very accurate. Follow them and it will be easy to find the location! Check in was seamless and the unit is very clean! There are plenty of amenities on site which is always appreciated! 4 adults stayed comfortably, the couch/pull out may be hard for 2 adults but doable. Fantastic and flexible host that responded to all questions very quickly and clearly.
This tiny cabin is actually very comfortable and grows on you. We stayed for 5 nights and explored the gorge and national forest along Lewis & Clark river. We're a group of 4 and used the couch-bed, it was comfortable. There is no real view but a nice sitting area outside. My boys liked the hot tub in the evening. Two small dogs woke us up every morning at 6am and barked continuously for 2 hours; those are the neighborhoods pets.
We absolutely enjoyed the property. It was well stocked, clean, and decorated with fun touches. We would definitely return. There were two small inconveniences. First, we didn't realize it was part of a duplex so the hot tub and fire pit were shared spaces and the shared wall is a bit thin. Since it was Thanksgiving, we didn't use the firepit or BBQs. We didn't run into the other tenants at the hot tub so it wasn't an issue. The other small issue was that I prefer to sleep with the bedroom window open year round but there wasn't a window in the bedroom. However, there was a box fan, so I used that which also solved the thin shared wall issue. Overall, we truly enjoyed the property and considered a summer rental so we could explore the area a bit more.
We chose this cabin due to it's proximity to Mt St Helens. We stayed 4 lovely days. Our goal was to summit St Helens, and enjoy the rivers and beaches on the other days. The kitchen was great for cooking at home. The wood accents were beautiful. We'll be back!
Tanya and Johan are amazing! My husband and I were only able to get a few days for our honeymoon after our handfasting due to family events. They made it incredibly special for us. We also enjoyed talking with them when we saw them. The pups are so welcoming. The property was calming for me. Thank you so much for everything Tanya and Johan! I would definitely book again if we could steal away for another weekend.
This one bedroom cabin was everything and more the description provided. It was quiet and decorated nicely in the Northwestern style. The bathroom was a good size with an extra large shower. The kitchen was very functional with everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and checked in on us frequently via VRBO Inbox to see if we needed anything. We enjoyed the nice hot tub with the snow that was in the area when we arrived. We will certainly return to this quiet getaway.
My girlfriends and I wanted a little getaway from Portland and this gem of a place, just 50 minutes away, was perfect. It is very cute, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. We utilized the fireplace, the hot tub, the provided games, and the well-stocked kitchen. The host made us feel very welcome and provided excellent communication from booking to arrival. Had the weather been better we would have taken advantage of all the nearby hikes and nature, but alas the PNW had other plans. Well, typical rainy, winter plans. We still enjoyed staying in, playing games, and warming up by the fire.
The only negative is that there is an adjacent rental and thin(ish) walls. It wasnāt a major issue for us as our neighbors were relatively quiet, but Iād recommend bringing some earplugs and/or sleep sounds if youāre a light sleeper (just in case.)
This was an immaculately clean cottage in a lovely bucolic setting. Recommend arriving during daylight hours on your first night. Cottage is thoughtfully appointed, well maintained and the owners are friendly but not intrusive.
