"Lovely grand old hotel on the surface. Staff were friendly and helpful most of the time. Very clean, nice large bathroom and comfy bed. However, there were a couple of things which would have really improved my stay at the hotel. We booked a superior double room. "The owners were very nice and the food was excellent. The room was nice however we were disappointed with the bathroom. We expected a jacuzzi tub, but the jets didn’t work in the tub. There was no shower head, only a hand-held faucet, plus there was no shower enclosure. Made it a challenge to wash without creating a mess all over the bathroom. "

"Nicely renovated room with balcony. Despite being on second floor, great view. Well-appointed outside seating. Within easy walking distance of train station and beach. Good buffet breakfast. Friendly staff who made every effort to help me as my Italian is basic. "Lovely overnight stay in an area just outside city centre by a few kilometres. Still easy to get to and had a local feel with many workers and families coming together under the arcades. Nice to have breakfast included in price. Would recommend the bed to any traveller!"

"I have stayed in various Hostel's over the years & this one was very clean & safe. I did have my own room at the hostel, the room was very clean and had a safe as well. The hostel has cameras in the halls and keyless entry to the rooms, after 8pm you need a code to get up the elevator as well. The staff give you a map with local attractions to the city as well.
