"Loved my stay here. I enjoyed the beach and the spectacular Junior Olympic pool. During my trip in early May it was never too crowded but there were plenty of people around. I enjoyed the very laid back vibe and the mix of other guests/ residents - people of all ages, families, other groups. Staff were always polite and professional, but not exactly friendly or welcoming."

"I recently stayed at the Arecibo Inn and had a mixed experience, but overall, I’m giving it 5 stars because the value for the price is excellent. The service was truly a standout—staff members were courteous, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. Check-in was quick, and any concerns were addressed professionally and efficiently. That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The hallways had a lingering unpleasant smell, likely due to people smoking despite posted policies. Better vigilance and enforcement of the no-smoking rule would improve the environment significantly. The hallways were also quite noisy at times, especially during the night. Installing better soundproof doors could help minimize the disturbance for guests. Finally, the mattresses could use an upgrade, as mine felt worn and not very comfortable. Improving mattress quality would really elevate the overall guest experience. In spite of these issues, the overall value for what I paid was excellent. With a few improvements, this hotel could easily become a top choice in the area."

"Open air living with the exception of AC in the bedrooms. Wish I would have paid attention to not having a stove, but otherwise had what we needed. Safe neighborhood with a beautiful ‘boardwalk’ that people walk day/night. Walk to watch surfing competitions. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would reccomend! "

"Beautiful, romantic and spacious. The ocean view is breathtaking. You hear the waves crash in such a soothing way, all day and all night. You can use the pool anytime of day, and it over looks the beautiful Ocean. Definitely will go back, this time with my kids as well. We loved it"

"Blue Nest great house plenty of space, liked the bathroom of the patio outside as that is where we spent most of our time if we werent on the beach. Quiet beach not crowded. Great bar across the street, great food. We cooked most our meals at the house on the grill. Walked to the lighthouse every day. Would stay there again. Very comfy beds."
