"The house is just minutes from the beach. Even in early August the beach is not crowded. Water temperatures were around 16 C. The beach gets windy in the afternoon when kite surfers start. There are life guards which adds extra safety. The little town is cute with restaurants, beach cafes and a little grocery store. A train to Porto runs a few times a day. The house itself has some charming aspects such as the ocean view and the hardwood floor. The kitchen has a lot of useful things....

"Une superbe propriété ou une grande famille peut evoluer en toute independance. Irréprochable sur la propreté, la maison alterne un decor traditionnel Portugais et un decor moderne. La piscine est superbe avec une tres belle vue. Et si vous y êtes au 15 aout ,vous pourrez profitez des fêtes religieuses locales."

"Verdadeiras férias em família. A Quinta da Mata é o ideal para um grupo grande. Muito bem decorada , super confortável. Localização ideal, rodeada de verde , longe e tão perto de tudo. De manha passeios à tarde piscina. A Família vai recordar estas férias com saudade. Obg Quinta da Mata "

"Perfect size for 9 people. Good facilities within the property and enough space for 2 families. We encountered a couple of problems but generally dealt with quickly for example 2 wasps nest were dealt very quickly. Slightly frustrating that air conditioning in 2 of the rooms stopped working and we were without for the last 2 nights and engineer appeared to be unable to fix the problem. "

"The house is a very attractive modern structure, with a.pleasamt pool and about 25 minutes walk or a very short drive to the beach. The kitchen is small but well equiped. The mattresses will suit those who like very firm beds.The house was recently completed and like all new construction there are some issues: bare bulbs, plumbing that gives off occasional sewer smells, bathrooms with nowhere to hang the towels. These are all small irritants which the owner will undoubtedly address in the coming...

"Wir haben uns in dem gut geschnittenen und gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus mit einem schönen Pool und großem Garten sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage oben am Berg mit dem Blick aufs Meer war wunderschön. Der Kontakt vor Ort war sehr freundlich, zuverlässig und hilfsbereit. Wir werden bestimmt einmal wiederkommen."
