"This is a great ski and adventure hotel. It’s clean, big rooms, quiet despite its its size and gorgeous setting next to åre lake. Even the basic rooms are bigger than your average hotel in rest of Europe. I have been coming to this hotel with my 2 daughters ( now 13 and 15) for skiing and it is always a good option. It’s not ski in& ski out, lifts are either a 10 mins walk or ski buss right outside. Perfect for us tjough"

"I had a very pleasant stay. Laura at reception went above and beyond and was very helpful as most everything around town is in Swedish. The hotel itself is fine, a bit dark as none of the rooms or common areas have windows. comfortable enough. You do have to walk rather far to get to the bathrooms. the saunas were under repair so unfortunately did not get to use them. hotel is centrally and conveniently located. "

"The owner adjusted his schedule to accommodate our checkin. He was pleasant and informative. Because the hotel was not full he upgraded our room at no increased charge. Things like the conference room and the in room sauna were welcome. One of the best things for us was that Peter, the owner. let us use his garage to wax skis. While the location was scenic, it was also more difficult to get into town or to the ski trails and required taxi and bus transport."

"This is it. The rustic inn is only accessible by a handsome Swede driving a snowmobile, who comes to pick you up at the car park, carting your luggage padded by reindeer pelts. (You can also easily walk to the cars, which is only about 1/4 mile downhill from the Inn.) You can hop on your skiis and glide down to the nearest ski lift, popping back in for a fantastic lunch.
