"Been staying here many years and have seen it improve. Though all the staff have always been very friendly and helpfull. Will continue to stay in the future great location and very well priced. Comfortable beds tea n kettle in room and room service snacks. Bar and restaurant friendly and fair amount of choice when open. Extremely pet friendly. Can’t ask for more "

"Friendly staff, accessible location NOT in the town centre so be prepared either to walk but bear in mind that all buses in Calais appear to be free ! Which we only worked out after a few days walking everywhere lols … It’s not the ritz but on par with French hotels at the same price point. There was a small bar and snacks to buy, but although it said it was a restaurant it didn’t have the vibe or look of it, and we didn’t see anyone eating dinner there, better to head to town. Calais is very cheap for eats and drinks, the beach is amazing, everywhere is clean, the parks and ambience are lovely, it’s overlooked and place to come but it recommended."

"We chose this hotel because it was very close to the Le Shuttle terminal, and it was very convenient. We stayed in a family room with our two children, 6 and 10 years. The room was great, two single beds and a double with lots of room unlike other family rooms we have stayed in. It was also quiet and dark, so we had a good sleep. Breakfast was nice with lots of options, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was free and convenient. We would definitely stay here again if we were travelling on the shuttle."

The hotel’s location made it easy to explore Calais on foot, and we appreciated how relaxing everything felt after a day of travel. While it may not be a luxury destination, the Holiday Inn in Calais delivers exactly what a traveler needs—comfort, kindness, and a few unexpected delights. We would absolutely stay here again."

"We have stayed at the holiday inn for over 32 years even when our grandchildren were little we love it its convenient to base yourself there do a bit of travelling clean place to stay easy parking we love it "

"4 night stay in late February. We booked a 2 bed apartment( 1 double and small room with bunk beds). Had corner balcony overlooking the Liane river towards town. Heating worked a treat intact had to open windows to cool down. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, resolved an issue with broken hair dryer swiftly. Booked parking for our stay in the underground car park belonging to Evancy. Checkout is usually 10.00 but we paid the extra to extend until 14.00. deposit taken on arrival was back in my account by the evening of our return home. Apartment is a15 min stroll into main shopping/ restaurant area. A longer steep uphill trek to the walled town ( approximately steady 30 mins."
