FREE activities every day for stays of 28 nights or less, including Biltmore, Skiing, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, and Timber Axe Throwing.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not serve breakfast. Located in South Asheville just minutes to downtown, and convenient to attractions like Sierra Nevada, Twelve Bones South and Jake Rusher Park. South Asheville is quickly becoming a "must see" destination in its own right, and we are right in the middle of it.

When we first discovered that the historic Blake House was for sale, we thought that living here was just a dream. But our dream has come true and we are excited to be sharing it with guests.

Welcome to the Carriage House, located on the upstairs level of the carriage house behind the main house. Please note there is a staircase. The bathroom is accessible only through the master bedroom so please be aware of this before booking. It is beautiful, sunny, comfy and delightful. We have spent a great deal of time and effort to make it perfect, and we hope you will love it as much as we do.

We are close to the Biltmore House, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the NC Arboretum, Pisgah National Forest and the Folk Art Center. We are convenient to the airport. The nearby towns of Hendersonville and Brevard are both about a 30 minute drive, making them great destinations for a day trip.

Our family lives in the main house, so please be aware that the front porch area is our family space and not accessible to guests. We invite you to enjoy the patio area and to walk around and enjoy the grounds. We hope you enjoy your stay, and we look forward to hosting your visit!

Great location!
My husband, myself, our 7 year old daughter and our 4 month old baby boy had a clean and comfortable stay here. The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware needed, plenty of linens and towels, and cleaning supplies for any spills, and laundry on site! (Be still me neat freak heart) The carriage house was centrally located to everything we wanted to accomplish. A quick 10 minute drive from the airport, 15 minutes to get to the Biltmore and 20 minutes from Asheville and an easy adventure to get to chimney rock.strongly recommend if you want a place to call home away from the busy city.

I’m hesitant to write this review because I want to keep this place to myself. It was wonderful. You could just bring your clothes and make yourself at home. Fully stocked kitchen and living combo with two bedrooms and an entry way. It was very clean and owners are very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

GREAT FAMILY TIME
Lets start by saying it is a good location with shopping and resturants within minutes. We had a wonderful at the " Vintage Market" . Enjoyed some great family time. The only thing bad was being from the country we are used to it being dark when trying to sleep... the master has blinds which worked fine but they do let in alot of light. Thanks for having us would stay again.

Absolutely loved this charming cottage. It was beautiful, comfortable, and in a great location. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do in the Asheville area. We had our 17 month old with us & it was so convenient to have a second bedroom for her and doors that would keep her off the stairs landing. We had everything we needed. Great for a group of 3 or 4.

Lovely stay
This property is immaculate and well maintained. The bed is extremely comfortable and the rooms are large with high ceilings. The main house is gorgeous and safety was never a concern in the carriage house. The location is excellent between Asheville and Hendersonville.
