"The location is beautiful and private and easy to find . Accommodation is spacious and comfortable enough ( apart from the pillows but everyone has different preferences) but felt a bit dark . It seems there is a damp issue as the property unfortunately smelt mildewy and the bed clothes were all damp on arrival which meant we had to use own blankets for the night - we wondered if there is scope to improve ventilation . The water took a long time to heat for a bath … We walked on local footpath...

"We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. "This place was excellent for our Ireland Golf trip. We had 8 golfers which included two of my son’s and two wives joined us for a total group of 10. The home was well situated for our drives to some of Ireland’s premier golf courses and our day trip to Killarney. The house is much larger than it appears in the photos particularly the two upstairs king en suite bedrooms. Sean was easy to communicate with and made the process easy. Much appreciated. John"

"This place was amazing in its proximity to area towns and attractions. It had a great view of the sea, and the place was very clean and tidy. Teri was very helpful in aiding us to the place, and she even had a cake dessert and some coffee pods for us when we arrived. She went through everything very thoroughly and was always available via What's App for our questions. I recommend this to any family/friend group (we were 9). Lots of space, great bedrooms, very clean. So glad we chose this place....

"We stayed in this beautiful house last week. It felt as if staying with friends or family, Eithne was so welcoming and helpful when we arrived. The house is so well equipped and the owners had left dishwasher tabs, surface spray, tin foil etc this was so helpful. Thank you. The house is clean and comfortable, electricity & fuel use is paid at the end of the holiday, which I thought was a very good idea in these times when we should be conserving energy. You won’t go wrong booking this...

"This is a wonderful house that has a lot of character. It has everything you need. It is easy to stay at the house all day, either inside or on the patio overlooking the river. Very nice and peaceful. Short walk to town that is classic Ireland with two Michelin star restaurants, shopping, sightseeing and plenty of pubs. Good place to take tours from."

"If you are looking for a rustic experience with a coastal million dollar view this is the place for you. Would not recommend for people leary of driving on a long, winding, narrow country road or those with certain disabilities as stone steps are steep going up to property. Martin was a friendly host and you even get to feed the chickens near the property."
