"To start with the (only a few) positives: - The property manager was forthcoming and friendly. - Location of the property is ok: Elafonisos is 10 minutes by car + 10 minutes by ferry away; Kastania cave, Petrified forest and Monemvasia are all 30-40 minutes away. The nearest town, Neapoli, is 5 mins away (all by car). However, the neighbourhood itself is less than scenic, a dirt coastal road leads you to the property. Nowhere to go on foot. "We just came back from a 6 -day holiday in Skala with our 3 children (19, 16, 11) and we had an amazing time. The house, the setting, the beach, the facilities...everything is just perfect. I would highly recommend this house for a family with older kids or a group of friends. So if you are looking for calm, access to your own deserted sandy beach, family time., your own pool/table tennis/volley ball court...this is the place ! The difficult road to access the property is a very small price...

"This is a nice property in Monemvasia but we did experience a few problems. The electricity went out multiple times and we were initially asked to work around their schedule for check-in time. Communication with the management was unpleasant and some untruths were told by them. Not sure whether this was an isolated event or a pattern. Perhaps others will have a better experience than we did. Nice looking property though."
