This 1936 Craftsmen inspired, vintage bungalow has been completely restored by an artist so that you can unwind in style. It has just the right combination of color and comfort. The exterior has been painted a warm, sunny yellow creating a very warm welcome. The splash of red in the kitchen adds to its rustic charm. Guests will enjoy how cozy this home feels. Less than 1000 square feet of creatively utilized space offering everything you need for a fabulous getaway. The family/dining room is open to the kitchen with breakfast bar. Enjoy hanging out watching a movie on the flat-screen T.V. Play a game or dine at the cafe- style table. Three well-appointed bedrooms offer sleeping for up to 6 guests with a King, Queen and 2 twin beds. The tile work in the bathroom and one-of-a-kind light fixtures are small works of art. The bathroom has a stall shower.

Take a 12 minute stroll or use the bikes and visit the Plaza in downtown Arcata or enjoy our famous Farmer's Market for fresh, local organic offerings, food and music. This home is a five minute drive from Cal Poly Humboldt! Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen or stop and eat at any of the great restaurants on The Plaza. Sit outside on the front porch and enjoy cocktails or start your day there with some locally roasted coffee. The Greenview Market located across the adjacent pasture is super convenient for last minute items. Indoor laundry makes your stay even easier. Will welcome 1 dog to stay too!

What a great home right in downtown Arcata, the house was fully stocked with everything you’d need in both kitchen and bathroom. The yard was perfect, we grilled using the bbq so convenient right off the kitchen. What a gem!! Thank you, Amie

Great location to explore Arcata

Great location, super clean and welcoming. Neighborhood was nice we enjoyed sitting on the front porch. They let us check in a little early after asking which was huge since we came from a 7 hour drive. Only thing I would suggest is cloth or black out curtains in the bedrooms. The light from the next door market was so bright it woke me up at night multiple times. Overall a fantastic stay locking forward to coming back. You can also rent from them directly to save on some fees.

This was out 4th trip here. This is our go to place when we stay in Arcata. Comes with two bike cruisers, close to Arcata square and the university. Great location and management team.

Perfect for my 2 adult sons and me
Loved visiting with family in a home setting. Cooking, eating, and movies. Too bad the plants were all dead and the windows were really dirty with spider webs. Weird small shower too. We used the BBQ one night for steaks which was awesome. The generous driveway allowed my son's to do some work that was necessary. And their is a little grocery store next door.

We had a wonderful stay, and we’re very impressed with the cleanliness and the attention to detail and every last little thing we might need for our short stay. My husband is generally not a fan of staying in a rental such as this, and he generally ops for a hotel room, but he said that this stay here has changed his mind. That is really saying a lot and we can’t think our hosts enough for making it the most comfortable stay in a Vrbo that we have ever had! We will be back.

Great for short stay
House was great for short stay. Kitchen had everything we needed and overall the house was comfortable. Neighborhood does not have a lot of street lights which makes walking the dog in the evening a bit difficult. WiFi was not reliable if more than one person trying to access email - created buffering with internet TV.

A nice little house near downtown Arcata. If you like to walk it's close enough to the Plaza, but very bikeable or a short drive. The house itself was really pleasant, but I really enjoyed eating dinner in the backyard.

My daughter and I came to see my son, who is a grad student at HSU. Great location and adorable house. My only suggestion would be to add one or two bigger pots/ pans. Otherwise great and all as promised.

Good Location and Price
A cute, little house that fit our purpose. We used the property as a home base to visit the redwoods and Eureka. Neighborhood was nice, but the street was very busy (wished the whole yard had been fenced for our comfort and safety). Other amenities on the property were appreciated, such as laundry. As with any rental, there were a few things that could make the stay even better. With six guests, we had one hotel-sized shampoo and conditioner. The dinner table only seats four (two people have bar stools at a counter). Would have been great to have a way to extend the table for family style games. All in all, it was a nice stay.

Perfect spot
We stayed at Potter’s Bungalow for a way too short weekend visiting our college freshman. There was plenty of space for both parents, an auntie and a little brother. We were able to explore the cute town of Arcata and the campus. The house was very well appointed; plenty of linens, kitchen ware, and even two bikes! Not to mention lovely pottery everywhere. Next time we hope to stay longer. There is so much to explore there.

It was a good stay. No hassles. Plenty of linens. Access to the property was safe and easy. Good supply of kitchen utensils and dishes. Coffee was there, but no wine. Cute little house.
