"We had such a wonderful relaxing time here, that we cannot recommend it enough. The pictures really don't do the glorious location justice and it is much better in real life. The accommodation was clean and easy to care for. It has everything you would need and there is a supermarket just across the road for supplies, which we found very useful. It was an excellent point to start from for exploring the area and we found Marans, La Rochelle and the local water park of O'Gliss all very enjoyable day trips. When you are not exploring the local area it is a very relaxing place to just chill out and enjoy the pool or a walk along the fields and canals nearby. We saw hares, hoopoes and egrets to name a few. The sunsets are amazing. It was by far the best and most relaxing holiday we have ever had. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and kind and accommodating. They respected our privacy and we respected theirs, but they were also there to help with anything and also to ensure that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back! We can't recommend this holiday home / gite enough! "

The gite itself and grounds are beautifully maintained - we felt super relaxed when we left having spent the week swimming, lying in hammocks and exploring the nature in the garden. "While we were a little nervous about the somewhat shabby area around this small, quiet hotel, we were quite happy to enter and find an immaculately clean, modernized facility. The parking area, while not a garage, fell safe and secure. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, the common areas fresh and modern and the room so clean and sparkling! Absolutely the only reason I had to take off a star was because the mattress really could use replacing. It felt old and I could feel the springs. But, especially considering the very low price, I would definitely stay here again. "
