"We had an incredible stay very close to the Mark Twain National Forest! The property was clean, well-maintained, and perfectly situated right on the St. Francis River, making it an ideal spot. We loved hiking and swimming in the nearby shut-ins (it was warm enough in March!). The peacefulness of the area was exactly what we were looking for. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with beautiful surroundings, this is the perfect place. We would definitely stay here again!"

"When I saw that this was available during my spring break, I had to book it again! And it continues to impress me. We saw river otters and a bald eagle. Went fishing and did a lot of relaxing. My only complaint during this visit is that the hot tub was pretty dirty. However, I will absolutely be back. "

"We have been here before. This is our second stay. We love the tin roof cabin. We call it the girl scout cabin because of the layout of the beds but we heard it used to be a nunery. Either way it is a spectacular property. We were traveling with all of our children and spouses. We love The Abbey Kitchen, Elephant Rocks, Johnsons Shut-Ins, and new this time we rafted with Parks Bluff. A great trip. Two things; the listing says toaster and we didn't see one. Also the air wasn't working...
