There was very little to do in Aratula itself with a lot of the businesses closed down, but some lovely places to visit in the surrounds. "

"This is a classic country motel, nothing flash but clean and has everything one needs for a comfortable short stay. Air conditioning, a fan, mirrors, extra pillows, good access to power points and lamp switches and well placed bins. It is also a short 10 minute walk to the main street of Boonah."

"I read the varying reviews on this hotel and I was a little wary but tbf we had no issues with the place. Yes it’s dated but it sort of goes with the wackiness of it all. Good sleep, decent room with a view, great breakfast and all within a reasonable price. The view from upper rooms are just worthy of * themselves. Don’t be put off by bad reviews the hotel is fine and cheap."

"Someone I like quite a bit and myself enjoyed the lush views and lack of light pollution: we loved watching the chickens and baby cows. The cottage was bigger than we expected and we really appreciated the fridge and oven. We particularly enjoyed the air con. My friend left his phone charger behind so I’ll be contacting the owner as well as letting them know I’d love to come back again "

"Excellent Farmstay for the kids. So many activities to keep them occupied. Creek was beautiful and at our doorstep. Cabins are spread apart so we had privacy and lots of space. Great we could take our dog there also. We will be back again soon."

"I grew up in the area. It's nice to visit with an "old friend". Easy on the hip pocket, friendly helpful staff and within walking distance of everything you need. Even if I don't require accommodation, a trip to "The Aussie" is a must whenever I travel to Boonah/Fassifern Valley/Scenic Rim!"
