"The impression on the initial entry into the building is ok but each step further in the building got worse and worse. We were there to watch the Tour de France so the location was excellent for that, but everything else was AWFUL. No sheets available on the filthy beds, no bath towels just 2 disgusting kitchen towels that were stained so badly it was hard to tell if they had been cleaned. Keep looking elsewhere because this place is not good."

"This is one of those rare properties that has had little done to it in 30 years but then the price hasnt changed either! Very good value for money for 4 people and a dog. There are a couple of things that could be improved without spending a fortune, the bath mat and anti slip mat are truly disgusting! "Overall the apartment was well situated and had the bare minimum basics. We thought we paid for sheets and towels and had to pay extra on sight, which was a bummer. The towels reeked of smoke so we had to wash them and didn’t have hand towels. The kids bunk beds appear to have bedbugs, my daughter had bites and we have had to do major cleaning as a result. "

"Forget Gavarnie, Piau Engaly is the place to stay in the Pyrenees. About 1,800m up with fantastic views of the valley & lots of really good walking options. There's also the very good Edelweiss restaurant/bar by the apartment. Alain was also really helpful with the booking."

"This cosy apartment is cleverly designed to make the most of the space, with access to the sleeping/TV area via narrow stairs which are quite steep. It's very well placed for a quiet stay only 5 minutes' walk from the centre.
