"Stayed initially for three night but enjoyed it so much we had two more nights there. The apartments are well appointed and quite private. The rooms were spacious and well fitted with a jacuzzi in the bedroom. Quiet in grounds of large house on outskirts of Vila de Punhe about 4miles from Viana do Castelo. Easy access to the town. The staff were very nice and the owner was very helpful. The views were lovely over the area and vineyards. Everything worked well and had no problems."

I wish I had taken more notice of the number of external photographs against interior shots as the only redeeming feature of this place is the outside area. The house itself is of a very low standard. Everything feels old. Not rustic, not traditional, not authentic, OLD! "The house and grounds are beautiful, family run. The proprietor arranged for a delicious supper prepared by her Mom as we arrived exhausted and late after a very hot day walking the Portuguese Camino. The room we stayed in was fabulous, spacious and pleasant with a lovely balcony shaded by a fruit tree. The ensuite bathroom was spacious also and very modern. The proprietor’s parents were so kind to us too, even giving me a ride to Mass on Sunday morning! We had a nice continental breakfast with...
