"Stayed initially for three night but enjoyed it so much we had two more nights there. The apartments are well appointed and quite private. The rooms were spacious and well fitted with a jacuzzi in the bedroom. Quiet in grounds of large house on outskirts of Vila de Punhe about 4miles from Viana do Castelo. Easy access to the town. The staff were very nice and the owner was very helpful. The views were lovely over the area and vineyards. Everything worked well and had no problems."

"I was expecting, and have had, a far higher standard for the price. I wish I had taken more notice of the number of external photographs against interior shots as the only redeeming feature of this place is the outside area. The house itself is of a very low standard. Everything feels old. Not rustic, not traditional, not authentic, OLD! "The house and grounds are beautiful, family run. The proprietor arranged for a delicious supper prepared by her Mom as we arrived exhausted and late after a very hot day walking the Portuguese Camino. "The villa was very well planned, the bedrooms and the living room were separated, the living room voices did not come into the bedrooms, all bedrooms had their own bathrooms and there was also a shared toilet, the pool was warm, but the weather was bad, restaurants nearby, grocery stores a short drive away, everything was great except the weather :), Thank You Gilles and Joelle!"

"This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."
