The Lane House - Apollo Bay

The Lane House, an architecturally designed retreat, is ideally situated just off the Great Ocean Road at Apollo Bay. It's only a short 70-meter stroll to Apollo Bay’s patrolled beach and 200 meters from the local shops and restaurants.
UPSTAIRS
Upon arriving upstairs, you'll find a large, open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area that opens onto a decking balcony. From here, you can enjoy beautiful views of the harbour, ocean, and surrounding hills through floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. The modern kitchen is equipped with Miele appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, pantry, and large fridge.
The two upstairs bedrooms are designed for comfort and convenience. The master bedroom features a King Size bed, a wall-mounted TV, and an integrated DVD system, while the second bedroom offers two King Single beds. The main bathroom, stylishly appointed with dark porcelain tiles and white amenities, includes a luxurious two-person Aerospa and a large walk-in shower.
DOWNSTAIRS
The downstairs area mirrors the upstairs in quality and style. It includes two bedrooms, one with a King Size bed and the other with two King Single beds, both furnished to match the upstairs rooms and equipped with a wall-mounted TV/DVD system in the master. The downstairs bathroom features a large walk-in shower, vanity, and toilet. The laundry, also located downstairs, includes a washing machine and dryer.
OUTDOORS
The property offers undercover parking for three cars and additional space for a boat. An outdoor hot water shower is available to rinse off sand after a day at the beach, and there is a lockable storage area large enough to accommodate surfboards up to 2.4 meters long. This pet-friendly property welcomes small pets only.

GOR Marathon - Weekend Stay
second time staying here, perfect location nice tidy and clean, perfect access point to travelling around the great ocean road and get a nice run in at the marathon festival.

A comfortable place to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Ocean
We were excited to find such a well appointed and spacious 'holiday house ' from which to base our days at the beach in Apollo Bay . In a quiet location with great access and parking under cover . We managed 2 swims each day and found the house a comfortable retreat with comfy beds and a good kitchen for evenings at home . Luca (4) loved the bath tub with the fountain! The outdoor shower (with warm water)meant we minimised the amount of beach that sneaked into the house. We had a great time :thanks for the hospitality Alison ,Charlie Catriona and Luca

Very comfortable house , great location
The house is in a great location , just across the road for a swim or a stroll along the beach . It is very clean and comfortable with modern bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen . Good TV with Foxtel ( no wifi ) . Easy walk to cafes , harbour & golf . Good gas heater if you go in winter .

Fantastic in Apollo bay
We came down for the great ocean road marathon - house was easily accessible clean and comfortable, was in a great location easy walk to all amenities. Will definitely be recommending this property to everyone !!

Wonderful house in a perfect location
We loved loved loved our stay at The Lane House and had a really relaxing stay which is what we want. The house itself is in a perfect location as it’s a short stroll to the town centre and a 3 min walk to the beach but it’s also a very quiet and relaxing location where tlu can hear the sound of the waves crashing abs the local wildlife chirping. The house had all the mod cons you need and we loved all the little extras provided. The service of the rental company was top class with very easy and transparent and responsive booking, check-in and out process. We loved our holiday and were sad to leave. We definitely will be going back.

Fantastic
Our family keeps coming back to this place as we love it. It is walking distance to the beach and shops in town. The beds are comfortable. My kids love the outside shower and the upstairs bath, which they call the waterfall bathtub. The kitchen is easy to use and living area is open and relaxing.
