Bass Fishing
We are a bunch of mostly retired bass fishermen friends from different parts of the country and get together every spring. The house was excellent for us, very clean, well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the back porch perfect for evening drinks and laughs! Really enjoyed our stay.

Great family hangout
We had a terrific time at this home over Thanksgiving. The property was perfect for our needs. The six children our combined families have had a blast playing in the yard, sleeping in the two lifts together and enjoying the game room. We cooked a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner for everyone in the well equipped kitchen. The owners Susan & Bill are highly attentive and regularly checked in with us. Despite being on five acres seemingly in the wilderness, the property is highly convenient to anything and everything you need. Several in our party enjoyed the trails that run adjacent to the land. Very nice for a hike or jog. The home is very clean. Would highly recommend and will stay again if in the area. Thanks!

Location, Location, Location!
Wow! My family descended from all over the country to Raleigh for a family wedding. This location cannot be beat! Close to Lake Jordan, restaurants and just an overall beautiful property. Our three families totaling 9 ppl fit very comfortably in the home. The loft areas were a bit tricky with morning noise and the teens wanting to sleep in but otherwise we all unanimously loved fishing in the pond and walking the nearby trails.

Great place for family gathering
Great place to come with a big family. Dogs had a great time, children got to go fish in the pond, and the adults got to hang on the porch. Beds were also very comfortable. Close to the freeway but you can barely hear it, feels very remote and private from neighbors. Host was also very accommodating and checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly.

Private, quiet retreat
Great property! Great host! Rustic feel with all the comforts of home. Kids fished in morning, watched deer in the back yard at mid day, and sat around fire pit at night. Something for everyone. Minutes to grocery store, shopping, restaurants, whatever you need. Definitely on our list of places for a return trip?

Stay in Apex
Five of us stayed here while visiting family in Holly Springs and Rocky Mount. The house was perfect. There was plenty of seating, bedrooms, and bathrooms. We grilled and used the fire pit in the back. The supermarket was close by. The property is beautiful. My corgi loved running all around and laying in the yard. We walked on the ATT several times. It's a really pretty flat walk and the smell of pine out there is wonderful.

Enjoyed our stay and was very accommodating for my family. Well equipped however, would recommend bringing dish towels as none were provided. Also some light bulbs needed replaced in master bed and bath. These issues were very minor. Would stay here again. Enjoyed Jordan Lake as well.

At peace in nature
We had a group of about a dozen people staying for a weekend of meditation and prayer. The location was a good fit, quiet, in nature, and spacious enough for our needs. We enjoyed our stay with one hiccup - issues with water supply. It may have been related to the size of our group, although we made sure not to use the water excessively. The property owner was made aware of the situation and promised to address it. But otherwise, I would recommend this property and even consider favorably returning.

Fantastic Family Gathering!
We had a fabulous time on this property. Plenty of room for all 5 grandchildren to run around, fishing pond (tadpoles, etc.), large grassy play areas, interior is gorgeous. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom, which is nice. Plenty of room for everyone to hang out. Right next to the Tobacco Bike and Walking path. Bring your bicycles or running shoes!

Relaxing
Great location, feel like you are far out but still close to anything you might need. Lots of delivery options (all grocery and food delivery apps) so we didn’t have to waste time on our vacation shopping for basics. Right on the American Tobacco Trail which is very nice. Pet friendly, our dog loved his vacation at the farm! Property is not totally fenced in and given the proximity to the Trail we kept our dog on a leash when down by the pond. Plenty of room for off leash running in other areas, though! Two fire pits. We used the one in the back yard a few times. Property grounds are very well maintained. Owner was very responsive.

Nice place
There were only a few issues with the property, mainly dealing with kitchen tools and bath towels. Those are relatively small items but keep the property from getting a 5-star rating from us. Issues: No toaster???? Poor quality pots and pans, no dish rags. Not enough towels (sleeps 12, only 8 sets of towels) Poor video entertainment availability Lots of good things: Very clean Mattresses were comfortable Furniture is comfortable Bath/Shower features were very nice Very quiet and private Close to a lot of activities Plenty of parking etc. etc. etc.
