"I don’t think I could have found a nicer place to stay. I was looking for an ‘ away from city’ stay and this ticked all the boxes. Owners are warm and welcoming and incredibly helpful. They live upstairs but interact only if and when you want them to. Nothing is too much trouble. I fed the deer, sheep chickens and quails so if you are an animal person, this is utopia. The unit itself has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. They have thought of everything. Bed was really comfortable with quality bedding and lots of pillow choices. I plan on coming back in spring I loved it that much. "

The house was extremely well appointed, from the well stocked kitchen and pantry, to the beautifully appointed bedrooms, each worthy of a magazine cover, and as for the newly renovated bathroom, amazing. Host Amanda was the best host you could hope for. Brilliant! Dreturning asap "

"Upmarket rustic. We (two friends) stayed just one night but could easily have done another night. Great accommodation if you are a bigger group. Comms were good. We were a little unsure about the check in but used a bit of commonsense. Heavy rain prevented us making more of the outdoor space. "
