Soothing Holiday Home with Recreation Room

This attractive country house is located in Sint-Amands in Belgium. It is the perfect accommodation for a holiday with friends or family and the house also features a large garden.

The holiday home is located in an oasis of peace, quiet and nature and the immediate surroundings offer an excellent base for walking and cycling trips. On the quay of Sint-Amands, you have a view of one of the most beautiful Scheldt bends. At various places along the Scheldt, the ferry takes you from bank to bank free of charge. The cities of Antwerp, Mechelen, Brussels and Ghent are also worth a visit.

The holiday home is spacious and has attractive, modern furnishings. The dining room has a large dining table and the kitchen is equipped with a combination microwave and dishwasher. There is a recreation room with a table football game for entertainment.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

Compleet en comfortabel huis
We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad. Huis was erg netjes en compleet. Toiletten hing een handdoekje en er was zeep en toiletpapier. Was erg netjes en schoon. Prima bedden.

This place is amazing and we loved it . It was our first time in Belgium and we hired bikes as the cycle tracks are at the side of the house and its so easy to get around and explore.

prachtig, super gezellig en net huis. Ligging ideaal, erg rustig en een topgastvrouw - en heer. Tip: verduistering gordijnen in de slaapkamers misschien nog voorzien.

De aankomst was super geregeld met prima en vriendelijke uitleg door de eigenaren. Het is een prachtige, ruime, moderne accommodatie, van alle gemakken voorzien, met een grote tuin met een ruim grasveld erbij (voetballen!). In het weekend hebben wij de mooie steden Mechelen en Gent bezocht.

Prachtig nieuw groot huis met alles er op en aan (uitgebreide keuken, wasmachine, droger). Heel schoon en fris. Rustig gelegen en een goed fietsgebied. Ook diverse steden op korte (auto) afstand. De achterkant van het huis (met keuken en woonkamer) ligt aan een groot weiland met schapen er op.

Wieder eine problemlose Abwicklung. Sehr freundliche Eigentümer. Das Ferienhaus ist einfach nur super, sehr schön und hochwertig eingerichtet. Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl in dem Haus gefühlt und werden gerne nächstes Jahr wieder kommen! Wir haben keine Beanstandungen und waren wieder sehr zufrieden. Eine einzige kleine Anregung die wir haben, wäre evtl. eine Überdachung (zumindest teilweise) der Terasse. Hier ist man dem Regen und Wind immer recht stark ausgesetzt. Das ist aber definitiv keine Kritik sondern lediglich eine Idee. Das Haus ist und bleibt super! :)

Familie van den Bergh hat uns sehr freundlich begrüßt. Das Ferienhaus ist umgeben von weiten Grünflächen, über die Straße polterte so manches landwirtschaftliches Gerät. Während unseres hochsommerlichen Aufenthalts im Juni/Juli wehte um das Haus meist ein zunächst willkommener, dann aber auch leidiger Wind (Abschirmung?), die Gartenbestuhlung ist nicht wirklich komfortabel. Direkt hinter dem Haus verläuft die alte Bahnstrecke (jetzt Museumseisenbahn), an ihr entlang radelt es sich leicht bis Sint Amand oder Puurs. Dann gibt es viele wunderschöne Radwege entlang von Schelde oder Rupel in wirklichen Rückzugsgebieten der Natur. Gent, Mechelen (Glockenspiel), Lier (Kirche), Dendermonde (Marktplatz) waren echte Highlights. Am letzten Urlaubstag haben wir in Moerzeke lecker Pommes gegessen, dort liegt auch Edward Poppe begraben, an seinem Grab haben wir gebetet. Wir haben uns in der Palissade sehr wohlgefühlt, die Ausstattung ist tadellos.

We werden super vriendelijk ontvangen in een warm huis door warme mensen. Alles lag klaar zoals de handdoeken, infomap en de bedden waren opgemaakt. Een heel mooie streek om te wandelen en te fietsen. in en rond het huis ontbreekt er niets. Het uitzicht vanuit de keuken is prachtig. Het was een relax weekend. Het fijne was ook dat we konden blijven zolang we wilden op zondag. We moesten niet tegen 11 uur weg zijn, we konden er nog een mooie dag van maken.

Het is een heel mooi en bijna nieuw vakantiehuis. Veel ruimte in het huis en alles is heel schoon en netjes. Het huis ligt in een heel rustige landelijke omgeving met mooi uitzicht over de weilanden en akkers.
