Disgusting
The hotel is like a decadent brothel left to the dust. Entry not clean, lift disgusting (carpet not cleaned for years. Hall also dark to hide the dirt. Room full of dust, outlets, bed sheet with hair, full of dust and stein. And floor that was denied to see a broom or a vacuum. The toilet also wasn't so clean and I had to buy a bleach to at least sit in the toilet. Well the pictures attached say much much more. And to finish the window is next to a mezzanine with no lock at all. They say parking is available but not parking at all but public one to the station where by the way I left my staff. Not what was advertised by the website and definitely not worth the price despite been 1 star hotel.

The Billard Palace had me Snookered!
Not a lot to say other than possibly the worst hotel I have stayed in. Not the hotel's fault or the staff's, just my own for not reading the reviews and for trying to save €20 per night. Will not be doing that again in a hurry!!

Positives: Great location, within walking distance of the central station and the main shopping streets. Fresh towels every day. Efficient reception staff. Negatives: The electronic keys to the lift and the room look very hacked together. Tiny CRT TV in the room, but remote required a 10 Euro deposit, so I didn't bother. Only one hour free wifi a day. Very noisy, can hear people's conversations in adjacent rooms, one night people were rabbiting to about 4am.

As expected for the cost
During checkin my reservation could not be found. The gentleman at the desk allowed me to checkin and was pleasant about it. The room was clean but the shower head was partially clogged and had little water flow.

Avoid if possible
The room was pretty small and dirty. TV was 50 years old without a remote. Difficult to charge your devices as the only PowerPoint is taken by the old TV and in order to access it the TV had to be removed. The hotel is located near the train central station but is not a nice area, some of the reception staff were smoking in the reception. Best to spend few more euros in something decent.

Good for travellers/students for one night stay
The hotel is in an excellent location, directly next to Antwerp central station. Staff were friendly and helpful. We paid for a basic double room which was infact two single beds and basic is definitely how it was. No tea/coffee making facilities and the only working plug was near the ceiling so very inconvenient. The rooms are not noise proof and students were up most of the night. However, this was the cheapest hotel we found in the area & perfect for one night stay whilst travelling.

HORRIBLE! There were bed bugs in the bed and in the curtains. We could not sleep there as it was too disgusting. What a waste of money, do not go there under any circonstances. Service is just as horrible and they refuse to refund the night we did not stayed.
