When i finally got in touch with a person to verify my booking (because i had ZERO emails/info from the place beyond my expedia confirmation) she could not be bothered. "Chose Villa Istriana B&B in Umag as a base to explore Istria. This is a charming hotel within easy reach of the Adriatic coastline. Our host Daniela was friendly, professional and informative. Our room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The bathroom and shower spotless with plenty of hot water. Parking just outside our room; private terrace with table & chairs a plus. There is a nice restaurant right next door, but we often ate at Rustico (Istrian specialties) a 10-minute drive. Highly recommend...

"I can’t say this enough, the service at this hotel is top of the line. We had an issue with our room upon check in and the team at the hotel checked on us multiple times to ensure that everything was ok. They truly showed understanding and compassion throughout our stay. The amenities provided at Grand Park are the best I’ve seen in Croatia and would highly recommend. The view into the city of Rovinj is also incredible. The one item that I would suggest as an improvement is that it is clear the hotel is seeing some wear and tear that comes with its usage. Things like scuffs on hallways and dirt in certain parts of the hotel. This is my second time staying here and will definitely be coming back."

"A well maintained, beautiful house. The yard is not large but has a nice swimming pool and a gorgeous old tree that provides excellent shade from the hot sun. The hosts are thoughtful, responsive and nice. They made efforts to help us in every possible way. We had a very nice vacation there."
