Garrett is a great host. Me and my band Bruiser Force were playing music in Hugo so we chose to stay at the Indian Cabin. Awesome property for a weekend on the road. Comfy accommodations and beautiful scenery around the property.
Such a relaxing stay. We loved watching the birds and chilling by the lake. Cute little cabin on a quiet property. Perfect for a weekend getaway from the city.
Stayed in Cowboy Cabin with my boyfriend and dog for my birthday and it was an amazing experience that I can not recommend enough for a getaway. Easy to check in and came set with everything we needed. Very comfortable and beautiful.
This was the fifth time we’ve visited Rockin O Ranch and it once again was great. The weather was great-as was the fishing-very serene place-and Garrett is always very accommodating and helpful-we will return

It was our 50th anniversary trip. Beautiful setting. Geese on the lake. We brought our boat and caught 72 bass between 1.5 and 2.5 lbs..Unforgettable vacation!!!
The overall experience was exactly what I needed. Peaceful country experience. This location is beautiful and just as described! I will definitely be returning!
We had such an amazing and relaxing vacation. Beautiful property witj fishing and lots of hiking and exploring. We didnt want to leave and will definitely return! The owner was so nice and easy to contact if we had a question. We ejoyed our fireworks too, thank you agan For sharing your place!!
We booked just 2 nights at Garrett’s Cowboy Cabin and wish we’d stayed longer! Easy check-in and departure process. Lots of privacy. Great lake for fishing, though it was very cool in December. I caught a bass right away in the short time we spent enjoying the lake. We’re talking to our kids about booking together for some family fun time in the future!

It has everything you need for a great time! They had firewood, boats for the water, tv, cooking supplies! You name it! I’m definitely coming back
We needed this so very much, we lost our only child to cancer in Oct 2024 at age 43 after her 4 long years of battle. Really felt healing while we were there by the pond and the quiet. Thank you!
It was comfortable and clean. It On a nice private lake. Very relaxing. We are looking forward to coming back soon. Host was very nice went out of his way to make sure we had a nice stay!
This was our 2nd time at Rock'n O'Ranch. We love the peacefulness and tranquility. The guys had great luck fishing in the paddle boats and us ladies sat on the porch swing or walked the trail around the lake with the dog.
The owner/manager Garrett is a great host with the most interesting stories. Will be back soon!
Overall, this was a spectacular find and we were very pleased to stay two nights here. It's a wonderful space between the two lakes, we had a blast fishing from the shore and taking the boat out early in the mornings.
The house could have been a little cleaner, especially the bathroom, but it's a lake house and met our expectations. We had everything we needed, and more, to have a great time.
The lakes are very natural and shallow, there's a lot of grass & algae just below the surface. If you're thinking of using crank baits, spinners & jigs, you will drag that in. But, find the clear patches and you will catch fish. We caught a lot of sunfish on worms and bobber, even 2 very aggressive fish on spinners. We also caught a lot of small bass on spinners and jigs, nothing over 13 inches. It was a very fun experience to get out and not spend hours looking for fish, even if they weren't huge lunkers.
Firewood was supplied, we brought some too and left it behind for the next stay. The grill looked like gas in pictures, but was converted to charcoal. A quick trip to town and we had what we needed.
Sheets and towels were clean, water was hot, can't ask for more for a couple of days of not quite camping, but enjoying the outdoors.
Can't wait for our next visit!
