I am writing to share my recent experience during my stay at Wind Of Lara Hotel, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations.
Firstly, I noticed that payments are only accepted in Euros, which could pose a challenge for American guests. Upon our arrival, we encountered a manager who was quite unprofessional and unwelcoming. It was apparent that tipping significantly influenced the level of service received; without it, we felt a distinct lack of respect.
Additionally, the housekeeping standards were disappointing. We found that bathrooms were not cleaned adequately, and our pillowcases were not changed over the course of five days. Moreover, we were provided with only one key card for our room, regardless of the number of guests.
The dining options were also underwhelming. We experienced a lack of variety, as the same meals were repeatedly served for both lunch and dinner.
Given these issues, I regret to say that I would not recommend this hotel to fellow travelers, especially those from the U.S. Our seven-night stay turned out to be quite frustrating, and I feel it did not justify the price we paid.
I hope improvements can be made for future guests.
