"The place had a great view. Bed was super comfortable, good wifi. The owners were very sweet and helpful. I was even able to book transport with their help. The beach is a short walk and there is a little mini market right next to it. I was also able to walk to the couple restaurants and the Rum distillery. Definitely great value here."

"There is a building site across the road from La Maison Hibiscus. There are a lot of dogs in the immediate vicinity who bark noisily for extended periods. The windows don't shut properly because the metal bars on the inside block the handles from being moved to the closed position. The hot water tank is very small resulting in all but the briefest of showers running cold. The air conditioning was ineffective, blowing warm air. Even when left on overnight it did not get within 5 degrees Celsius...

The Anse Royale beach is a 5-minute walk. We took the bus twice but it was stressful, and so we decided to drive to the west side of the island. The owner was able to secure us a car rental service at a great price at short notice. We also had the buffett cooked for us, and it was so delicious and very well...
