"At one time, Le Domaine must have been a very beautiful resort. It is in a great location, on a small bay (Anse Marcel) with a pretty beach that is shared with two other resorts. But the resort has obviously had some financial hard times it now appears partially shut down, and many of the local businesspeople thought that it had already gone out of business. "We spent a week in St Martin with our three children and their families (including six grandchildren) to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The villa at Anse Marcel was fabulous and fit all of our family’s needs. The photos do not do it justice, it has beautiful upgrades. "The place was very beautiful and clean. The owner was very accommodating. After asking him where we could buy pillows (since the pillows at the house were not to our liking), he actually bought 2 new pillows for us to use. The house is great with the 2 floors for the 2 bedrooms. The open air concept is beautiful as it always seems like you are part of nature. "The unit is on the top floor up two flights of stairs. It’s ideal for a couple who want some space and separate bathrooms. The master bedroom has a very comfortable king sized bed. There is a nice deck overlooking the pool which is very pleasant in the afternoon and evening. It’s a bit hot in the morning.
