"Cocotier Du Rocher is a great spot to stay on La Digue. 6-8 minute bike ride to the main village, and 15-20 minutes by bike to Grand Anse and Anse Source d'Argent. My room was very spacious with AC, ceiling fan and well-stocked kitchen. The grounds are really nice as well... definitely get the island vibe. Stephan was super cool and helpful. He hooked me up with bike rental, shuttle to/from the ferry, and even some laundry. Note: Try to book ferry in advance as it can fill up at peak times. "

"Nous avons été déçu par la vétusté de la chambre et l'odeur de moisissure. On trouve ce niveau de confort dans d'autres pays, pour beaucoup moins cher. Inadapté pur des bébés (pas de lit de bébé et pas de tuyau de douche). La climatisation n'était pas nettoyée et nous n'avons pas pu l’utiliser malgré le passage du technicien qui n'a fait qu'asperger avec un produit extrêmement fort. La responsable a fait ce qu'elle pouvait et nous a offert un repas dans le restaurant Le Chateau St Cloud (à 200m)...

I appreciate the surroundings of La Digue but you can’t leave any food out, there will be 10,000 ants. Besides that the place is good value for money, the housekeeping was excellent and we were impressed by it. 10 min walk to the supermarket, good kitchenette. "
