"The owner was there to greet us upon our arrival and was always happy to help during our stay. The villa was spotless and I mean spotless not a speck of dust anywhere. The location is ideal as you are out of town so quiet day and night but within walking distance from both beach and town. We all enjoyed our stay."

"We loved staying in Tsoutsouros- the house was perfect for our family- v. close to the sea with everything we needed. Lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed the meal Eleni cooked for us. "

"A more beautiful place could not be found in a small village not far from Heraklion. Filled with comfort, Greek warmth and a lot of thoughtfulness. "We stayed here over Christmas and New Years for 16 days with our two sons aged 24 and 18. This is an authentic village house that has been renovated but has not lost its charm. The furniture and decor reflected someone's home. The house had Christmas decorations in place for us. On arrival there was fruit, biscuits, wine, raki, local olive oil there for us. "Wir waren 14 Tage in dieser schönen Gegend Kokkini Hani und dieser liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung. Als wir ankamen, stand ein Willkommensgeschenk auf dem Tisch- ein leckerer Obstkorb, auch Getränke 🤗. Das war wirklich einmalig lieb. Die Kommunikation war sehr unkompliziert. Alles zusammen wirklich sehr zu empfehlen und wir werden diese schöne Zeit sehr in Erinnerung behalten. Danke für alles🤗"

"Klein darf es sein und alt, aber nicht schmutzig und abgewohnt. Das ist wirklich sehr schade, da die Windmühle so viel Potential zum Wohlfühlen hätte. Julienne ist sehr freundlich, die Übergabe der Schlüssel hat perfekt geklappt. Gern hätten wir die wunderschöne Windmühle mit dem kleinen Garten mehr zum Entspannen, Lesen usw. genutzt. Leider waren aber keine bequemen Stühle oder ähnliches für den Garten vorhanden. Dafür ist die Lage perfekt um den Osten von Kreta zu erkunden. Es sind nur...

"This place was nice. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living area is comfortable. The patio is fantastic, and the view is excellent. There's a second bathroom with a washer on the patio, so you can enjoy the view and the sun while washing your clothes. A road passes directly in from of the house but there isn't much traffic on it, and because this house is up on a hill, the roadway isn't intrusive."

"The place is great value for money if you want to stay by the sea and have 3 bedrooms. It is clean and well equipped. The outside area is wonderful. Especially good was that the cook ware was really usable (it often isn't in holiday homes), the well working washing machine and that there were plenty of towels. "

"Wi-Fi was down the entire time we were there. Not a huge deal but this was never disclosed to us until we asked. Seems like some information we could have be told up front. Bathroom was definitely not cleaned before our arrival. House is overall tired and needs some basic attention. Lots of lights that don’t work, shower was pretty dirty. Definitely more “rustic” than “traditional” The property is beautiful and we did enjoy our stay, just wish it was cleaner. "

"Property seems very kid friendly, which is nice, but as we did not bring our children this trip, it was loud and overwhelming with kids running all over. Often difficult to get spots at the pool as well. We almost decided to go next door to the Nana Princess instead. Food was pretty good. Facilities have plumbing issues given the smells in the bathroom. Was not pleasant. Good value but not luxury. Live and learn"

"Beautiful property. Staff could not have been or lovely. Great restaurant and bar. It was a short van ride to a small beach club. Area is quiet, but there was dancing at some dinners. There’s an on site spa. My partner and I loved this place!"
