"Geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit sensationellem Blick über die Bucht von Heraklion. Sehr ruhig in einem kleinen Dorf gelegen. Gastgeberin Niki ist eine sehr aufgeschlossene, herzliche und gebildete Dame, die einem jederzeit mit Tipps und Ratschlägen zur Verfügung steht. Gastfreundschaft wird bei ihr wirklich ganz groß geschrieben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Herzlichen Dank!"

Achtung für Reisende aus der Schweiz: die Fe-Wo-App kann in der Schweiz nicht heruntergeladen und genutzt werden, deshalb ist die Kommunikation erschwert. Die Anfahrt über das Astouria-Gebirge ist schlichtweg spektakulär und atemberaubend - die Passstrasse ist in tadellosem Zustand (Achtung Steinschlag) und lädt immer wieder ein zum Fotostop. "la casa si trova in una parte Creta molto bella ed incontaminata. La casa è contornata da case in ristrutturazione e ci sono tubi di acqua che corrono lungo il vialetto. La vacanza tutto sommato è trascorsa bene anche se i condizionatori purtroppo non funzionavano. La cosa che ci ha molto amareggiati è la richiesta della proprietaria che alla nostra partenza ci ha voluto 30 euro per un' avvolgibile che si era inceppato ed una doga del letto che si era rotta ( questi problemi li avevamo fatti...

"Que dire si ce n'est que nous avons passé deux fabuleuses semaine. La maison est confortable et nous avons surtout profité d'un extérieur paradisiaque.On se sent comme à la maison il y a des animaux et les chiens sont adorables le coq est sympa et ne chante pas trop tôt Enfin le meilleur pour la fin l'hôte Vagelis et sa femme sont des gens en or , toujours à l'écoute et de bon conseil sans compter le lait de chèvre et les oeufs offert et le panier de bienvenue"

"Felt so lucky to find Valley View Lodge! If you’re looking for a place away from the tourist areas with quaint small village charm, this is it. Not much happening in the village but a walk around gives a feel for the quiet life away from the coast. Eat at the Golden Cage for dinner, the only restaurant in the old part of town. "If you're looking for a lovely authentic Cretan experience, I can highly recommend staying at the Amazing Stone Villa. Yiannis and Mary, the owners, were both lovely and welcoming. Maria's Tavern is a must if you stay. We enjoyed climbing near Kapetaniana and Agiofarango. "

"Anfahrt nur der Horror. Oreo Travel nicht in der Lage den nächstgelegenen Ort zu benennen, sie hauen einfach nur die Koordinaten raus. Der alte Herr / Eigentümer hat mich dann abgeholt von Ano Viannos ( 16 km entfernt). Ich hatte ein altes Navi, das nicht mit Koordinaten funktionierte. iPhone ging nicht zusammen mit der FIAT-Konsole. Es ist immer von einem Haus die Rede, aber es ist nur eine Wohnung, dafür zu teuer! Ich hatte das Pech, tramplige Leute über mir zu haben, Stühlerücken, nachts hört...
