Excellent communication from the owners of the property and Mr and Mrs Keys, the property managers, were extremely helpful and accommodating. You will need a car to access supermarkets/sight seeing etc. but there are lots of beautiful areas to see. Cognac is beautiful and reasonably close. "We have just spent the best two weeks in this lovely renovated property. It was everything we had wished for and more. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful. We enjoyed walking down to the river and taking the bac to Chanier every day for bread. The house itself has been finished to a very high quality and had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the covered outside area. The pool was fantastic and the perfect way to finish off a day spent sightseeing. Thanks so much!"

"11 of us stayed in the gite for 2 weeks (6 adults, 5 children). The property itself is absolutely stunning. Exactly as the photos depict, although the kitchen was smaller than we thought it would be. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the living areas are very light & airy with so much space & the air con was amazing! Excellent WiFi & sound system in the house.
