Charming Annapolis Victorian

This is a beautiful historic property within walking distance of downtown Annapolis and the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium. With six bedrooms (three queen beds, two fulls and two twins) the house comfortably sleeps up to 12. Additional rooms include a pool table room, dining room, large kitchen, library and comfortable family room. The large back yard and beautiful wrap around porch are perfect for anyone looking for a little outdoor time, or for energetic kids!

The convenience of this house cannot be overstated: an easy walk towards downtown you will find Carpaccio's Italian Restaurant, Ms. Shirley's Café, and the Annapolis Westin Hotel where the FREE Annapolis Circulator Trolley will pick you up and take you around the town. Additionally, the nearest grocery store is only a mile and a half away, and within two blocks of the house are a convenience store, a liquor store, and 'Paul's Homewood Cafe' on West Street! In short: if you need it, you can walk to it!

We have spent many years serving our country and are happy to call Annapolis our final port of call. Please note that this is our lived-in family home, not an investment property.

We highly recommend this home. It was clean, well appointed, and convenient to DTA and the Academy. The proximity to the stadium and USNA made it easy to walk to commissioining week events and enjoy Annapolis. Beautiful/quiet neighborhood, beautiful historic home, and attentive owners. we'd give it more than 5 stars if we could.

We had a total of 5 couples (10 people) who were all there for a 50 year reunion at the Academy. The place was close to the Westin and the stadium. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house had everything and more!! THANK YOU!!

Staying here was our best decision ever!
This beautiful, well-appointed home in a quiet neighborhood was the absolute perfect place for our large family! Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and serve meals comfortably. Plenty of space to chill individually or as a group. Enormous backyard for relaxing, playing and eating. Swing on the wrap-around porch was my happy place. Hosts were accessible and great communicators throughout the process. Perfect location for access to football stadium and downtown Annapolis without having to fight traffic. Didn't want our time to end and look forward to renting again!

College Reunion in Annapolis
This was the perfect property for our reunion. The house was spotless and so well equipped for dinners at home for a large group. Everything in the house is labeled and/or instructions provided on how to use various appliances. This was so nice. No mysteries. All the beds were very comfortable. The back deck was wonderful for hanging out together. We walked into town several times and it was not too far. There is also an off-road trial nearby to walk and run.

Outstanding Annapolis property for your group!
This beautiful large home was an outstanding rental choice for our USNA 45th reunion. As the guy responsible for booking a house for 7 old cantankerous grads, I was the hero! Awesome kitchen, huge deck and great indoor tables to gather and swap sea stories and tall tales. Easy walking distance to the stadium. Quiet neighborhood. We’ll be back for our 50th and I can’t imagine finding a better home in which to gather. Hope it’ll be available…..!

A Few Surprises
Overall a very large home with a good location right off of West St. in general it met expectations but there were a few surprises. The front door was covered by a curtain making it hard to admit visitors who did not know about entering through the side door. In addition most windows had the curtains shut which kept the home dark. We understand the need to reduce heat load in the summer but this impacted the ambiance of the home. Another surprise was the direction to not adjust the air conditioning without asking permission. Again we understand the desire to minimize the electric bill but it made us feel a bit unwelcome as we would have liked to turn it down at night.

This is a beautiful home with all of the amenities you could ask for. There's something for everyone. Kid friendly. Hostess left a generous gift basket. Just Like Home
What a wonderful venue this beautiful home was for our 50th reunion at the U. S. Naval Academy. The location was superb with easy access to downtown Annapolis and the Academy, and a short walk to Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The house exceeded our expectations with its comfortable accommodations, excellently equipped kitchen and large deck and backyard. The deck was especially enjoyable allowing many hours of relaxing and reminiscing. Denise, the owner, could not have been any more gracious and accommodating. From meeting us at the house for check in with a wonderful welcome basket to ensuring that we had all the information we needed to enjoy our stay, she was delightful to work with. We have stayed at several VRBO properties over the years and this home ranks very highly on our list of favorites. We will definitely consider renting here again in the future.
