"We have stayed at the Herwood inn before and love coming back here from year to year. The apartment was cozy, with unique boho decor and personal touches to make your stay feel like home. Its only a short walk a way from the main street, which is an added plus. They also had a outdoor hot tub which we really enjoyed. I would highly recommend booking for your next visit whether its family trip or a couples getaway. "

"This is a wonderful spot.. Walking distance to the town.. Friendly proprietors.... Sweet property "

"Loved staying at this property tucked away in Mt. Tremper. Walking distance to some great restaurants, the Zen buddhist monastery and good access to wifi. My dog also had a great time walking nearby. I wasn't sure where to dispose of my dog bags, but other than that, a perfect stay."

"This little garden house just through the greenhouse was perfect for my husband & I. We stayed for 2 nights to attend a concert @ Ulster Performing Arts Center. Comfy furniture & well-stocked with towels, bedding, dishes, utensils, etc. We used the hot tub one night as well, which was really nice. "

It was a marvel in many ways, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience with only a few minor flaws: rain shower didn’t work, the grounds where the hot tub is located could be landscaped to provide a beautiful and serene resting spot and there could be more of a staff presence to report "

"Peter and Julie are excellent host with a lot of nice recommendations to the area. The room was smaller than I originally thought, but it was extremely cozy and warm with all the nice amenities inside. We loved all the nice decoration and historical feeling the room has to offer. Will definitely consider it again when we plan to visit Kingston."

"My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the 1805 House B&B. The four-poster king-sized bed was very comfortable, the large tub in the bathroom was a delight, and breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. The hosts made check in and check out very easy. We were in the area for a jazz festival and to visit a friend. This was a lovely country stay for the weekend. "

"Really love the mountains and fall leaves and lots to do and see in the area, unlike some resort towns. The accommodations were very nice, thank you! "

"The house and property were great. Very comfortable house that felt like home with a well equipped kitchen, two living rooms, great beds, fireplace, and spa. Pool was closed since it was winter. The property is wooded and feels like being in your own private park but is only a few minutes from downtown. Highly recommended!"

"We had a great time at the cabin! It was the perfect escape from the city. The view was gorgeous, and the cabin had everything we needed. We also tried to use the canoe but the padlock is stuck, it might be rusted/need to be replaced. Otherwise everything was perfect!"
